East End Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

We have available a two bedroom, top floor unit that is beachfront with a private balcony overlooking the Caribbean and our reef protected white sand beach.

The unit has a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a king sized bed in the guest bedroom as well as pull down, single, Murphy beds in the main living area which are suitable for children.

Two bathrooms, a full kitchen (full sized refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher) if you wish to do some cooking in the unit.

There is also a kitchenette in the guest room which has a bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

BBQ’s are available on-site if your tastes run more to do-it-yourself grilling.

It is possible to customize the space to your needs as a result of a security door that separates the two units and the fact that each has a separate exterior entrance and balcony area.

2 Bedroom = both sides of the unit

1 Bedroom = the larger side of the unit with the full kitchen and living/dining area

About The Owner

Our unit at Castaways' Cove is privately owned. The building was certified for occupancy during October 2007 and we purchased pre-construction so ownership has been continuous since its opening.

We live in southwestern Ontario, Canada although we rent to people all over the world. Until very recently our unit was only rented through the resort's rental pool. We have since decided that we can more effectively control the usage of our unit if we take responsibility for this ourselves.

We often stay at Castaways' Cove for several weeks every year so we know what it is we speak of. We are not absentee landlords and we take care during the rental process. We want our guests to be comfortable and have as much information as they may require in order to enjoy their stay in our beachfront unit.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2007

We had a great week at the condo. The view from the balcony is just like the photo on the website. Facing east the sun streams in each morning but with enough shade to be comfortable in afternoon. The unit is very comfortable and well maintained. Enjoyed the snorkeling and kayaking - even got in a couple of games of tennis. It was a nice relaxing break from winter weather - hope we can come back next year !

This Condo Exceeded Our Expectations

We have stayed at the Reef Resort, now the Wyndham Reef Resort, for more then ten years, but this is the first time we have rented from a private owner. The condo was every bit as nice as the other timeshares at the Reef if not better. It came with beach towels, sand and water toys and even had Styrofoam coolers. The one thing we did not get with this condo, which was available at extra cost, was daily maid service which we did not miss. The other reviews below have expressed all the advantages of staying on the East End, this condo in particular and the owner. I agree with them all.

This is a great condo and we plan to rent again next year.

The Perfect Escape

I've traveled to over fifty countries including most of the Caribbean islands. I also tend to be picky about where I stay and where I dine. This location was perfect on both counts. The condo was clean and equipped with everything one could possibly need. And the view--how can I add to what has already been said? I was content to sit on the balcony every morning with coffee and watch the sunrise, and even happier to sit on it in the evening with a glass of wine. I followed the owner's recommendation for restaurants--and was impressed. The fusion cuisine found at Bombay Chopsticks and Tukka's (both five minutes away) was creative and the sushi chefs at Yoshi's on the other end of the island (worth the drive IMHO) are in the food art business. Perfect presentation. Fair warning: If you are an extrovert who craves the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced resort; who thinks that floating buses, aka cruise ships, disgorging hundreds of people at a port is a good thing, then this is not the place for you. If, however, you appreciate the beauty and serenity of a quieter locale, then you will love it here.

Absolutely perfect!

We loved everything about this place. The condo is modern, spacious, clean, and well appointed. Best of all is the good sized balcony that directly overlooks the beach and water; the view is simply breathtaking. We ate every meal and spent hours sitting out there in the evenings listening to the sound of the waves break on the reef. Yes, there is some turtle grass that washes up on the sand, but they rake the beach every morning (nonsense about a stinky noisy tractor - it's a quiet John Deer Gator). The water was incredibly warm and clear, great for snorkelling and swimming. It's not a pure sand bottom like you might find some places, but no urchins or sharp coral to worry about stepping on. Beach chairs were always available and shade under a palm tree could always be found. The pools were also great and our 8 year old found lots of friends to play with at them. We also loved how the unit was at the far end of the resort away from all the evening festivities - it was quiet and peaceful. The island itself was a real treat and we enjoyed our various excursions. Carl was very responsive. He sent an excellent welcoming package with easy to follow directions (again, nonsense about bad directions - you just need to know how to drive a roundabout) and answered e-mails promptly. 100% satisfied. 100% recommended.

Enjoyed Beach front condo every minute

My husband and I have stayed in this condo twice now.We love it! We love the quiet of the East End of Grand Cayman. We also love the quiet of the third floor and distance from the constant flow of the resort. Great snorkeling and always fantastic meals at Tukka's and Over The Edge mere miles away. This condo has Everything you may need and more! Eat in, grab food across the street!

Lovely Vacation Rental

We recently rented this spacious, well maintained vacation condo. The quiet, oceanfront, East End location, was most enjoyable. The beach front is quiet, and we never had to "reserve" beach chairs. Although this end of the island is quiet when compared to the Georgetown area, there is a reasonable selection of restaurants within a few minutes drive from the condo.

Nice, quiet end of the island

We spent three weeks here and were very happy with the rental. It is on the quiet end of the island. my wife and Icould run/jog for miles on the coastal road with little traffic. The stores across the street have almost anything you would need. The view is very nice but unfortunately this year was a strong El Nino so the weather was cool and sprinkly 10 out of 21 days. Nice for running but not for swimming. The wind and water was rougher than normal. This is our third time on GC and we have never had bad weather so guess we were due. Water is about 82 degrees. Went diving on a number of days using Tortuga and they go south to avoid the waves. The diving is the best I have seen in the Caribbean (except maybe Cozumel but it has a current) and I have been to many islands (14). My sister in law visited for a week and she had excellent privacy due to 2nd bedroom basically a studio with frig, coffee maker, balcony, private entrance, etc. The rear bedroom faces the street but has a balcony in the living space. Nice view, very quiet, somewhat difficult to enter ocean but sea life right out front is excellent if winds die down. Good choice and economical since Canadian dollar down.
