We are Indiana transplants who now love living on Marco Island. Our 22 year history on Marco of vacations and ownership of 4 properties led us to invest in this prime vacation condo. Being local, we know The Apollo to be an upscale, well maintained, secure, and popular destination for many returning guests. Our proximity also makes it possible for us to maintain and upgrade the condo for continual 'top-grade' experiences for our guests!

This desireable condo has it all! Top floor end unit with windows on 3 sides for East, South, and West exposures. Catch the views with sunrise over the Ten Thousand Islands and breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. We have completely redecorated the entire space, starting with new ceramic tile diagonal flooring. All new furniture, lighting & plumbing fixtures, appliances, window coverings, linens, and bedding with fresh paint make this 'show model' new! The 3 flat screen TV's on cable, 2 DVD players, and high speed wireless internet (secured) with phone let you stay connected with the modern world if you choose. But, you might just decide to get into the laid back Marco mode with T-shirts, flip flops, and sunscreen. Coffee on the lanai as the beach and Gulf come alive in the morning, feet in the sand during the day (walk out private access), cocktails for the amazing sunsets. This is an easy place to be!
The Apollo is a favorite destination for many on Marco Island's fabulous Crescent Beach. At the South end of 3 miles of groomed white sand, it sits in a prime spot for beach goers, with a short walk for water sports rentals, volleyball, or Parasailing. A short walk down the streetside gets you to multiple restaurants, shopping, convenience store, spa/salons, movie theaters, and resort hotels. By car you can find all you'll need on the island, but a 30 minute drive South takes you into Everglades City for a Ten Thousand Islands experience. 25 minutes North is Naples with it's world class shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Marco's marinas offer many ways to enjoy the water, either offshore or backwater.
The Apollo has air conditioned common areas, 7 days/week manager on duty, garage parking, and secured entry. The building and common areas are impeccably maintained. Large freshwater pool, hot spa, fitness room, sauna, and tennis courts are available for all guests. Apollo has it's own private beach access, so you're just steps away from the elevator. Sunset Grill is a lounge/restaurant located on the ground floor of Apollo. It offers great food and cold beer (full bar), indoors or outside. It's a busy place and a local favorite!
We had a great family vacay at the condo. The elevators are still under construction but everyone coming and going were conscious of each other. The condo was clean. FYI the twin bedroom is small with no dresser and no closet and no TV. The location could not be any better. The beach was clean and quiet. So many beautiful shells every morning and lots of fish and stingrays to watch in the surf. Most mornings and evening dolphin pods would swim by to view from the balcony. There is a Publix very close by to stock up and tons of restaurants within a five minute drive. We ate at DaVinci's, Nacho Mama's, and Aurturo's. All were fantastic.
We had such an amazing time. The property is kept clean. One elevator is down, but that is being fixed. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked; although, they could use a new coffee pot, but it works. The full size washer and dryer is a wonderdul feature. We didn't use the beach umbrella, but they have one in the closet along with other things. We did make use of a couple of the beach chairs though. The beach is shelly but well groomed. We would definitely love to stay here again. This has been added to one of our favorite vacation spots.
This will become a yearly staple for our family. The condo on the 10th floor provided amazing views of sunsets, daily beach pictures and even the tremendous power of nature (we experienced a beautiful lightening storm out over the water and watched from inside). The condo was clean and spacious with all the necessary items such as an abundance of towels and linens, as well as cooking material.
There were three very spacious bedrooms which can accommodate six people comfortably. The security of the building was wonderful with access only granted by key and then a second layer of security with a key required to call the elevator. There is a Redbox at a local store providing a great movie night experience after dinner, watching the sunset and having ice cream at a local placed called Bebe's. We rented stand up paddle boards and kayaks from Florida Adventures, which were delivered to the beach access right next door and had a fantastic day on the water. The sea shells, sand dollars and star fish were abundant, but PLEASE don't take them if they are still alive. We watched this happen on multiple occasions...there are so many others to chose from. Other guests at the Apollo were friendly and respectful.
The owners responded to all emails within 12 hours and even extended us a day within 6 hours of our request. The transactions were easy and well worth it. The management company trusted with turning over the keys was simple to deal with and if you arrive late that is not problem; the drop box is available to retrieve the material needed for registration at the Apollo. There is a $25 parking fee, but you do get an assigned spot without the hassle of searching.
I am certainly a fan of this property and have stayed at many locations using VRBO....this is one of the top 3.
We've been several times to Marco Island but this was certainly the best! Although weather was not good and it rained almost everyday (which is common in Florida summer), we spent a lot of time at the unit, mingling and enjoying one another! The unit is well stocked, and it has ample space for a group of 6 people. We will be back soon!
We visited Marco Island for Memorial Day weekend this year, the weather was amazing and the beach was heaven! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo, it was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the view...STUNNING! We had the pleasure of a magnificent sunset each and every night. The staff at the Apollo were friendly and helpful as well. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because of the beach equipment, unfortunately we didn't bring our beach umbrellas anticipating that there were some available at the condo- but the beach umbrella and the pop up cabana/tent were both broken, as well as a chair- not the owner's fault, if the tenants do not advise them of it- then how would they know?? Anyway- i advised the owner who was very apologetic, and hopefully the next guest will enjoy some new beach umbrella(s) and chairs. Other than that minor issue (we picked up an inexpensive beach umbrella in one of the shops)- the trip was FANTASTIC. I would definitely return and stay at this same condo. Another amazing trip to the West Coast of Florida. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful beach condo.
Where to begin....this condo was amazing! The views are spectacular! The condo was well stocked with kitchen accessories, towels, sheets, etc. The condo was also very clean. The sunsets are incredible! We felt like we had the best view from our 10th floor penthouse! The owners were great to work with, relying to my emails quickly. We definitely plan on renting this condo again!
