Fun Family Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Overall we had a great trip- there were 2 adults and 3 tweens. The place has a large kitchen table for playing cards/boardgames and eating together. It is on a quiet street so the kids could play catch outside without worrying about traffic. It was a hot weekend so the loft did get quite warm during the day. If you are planning on using the hot tub at nightime I would recommend bringing a couple camping lanterns as the light in the hot tub wasn't working and there was no porch light. The place was due for a spring cleaning- we ended up having to use their vaccuum to pick up all the dead moths behind the bunk beds and by the windows. The cabin is a short drive to the village and the lake- its a great location. Cool Cabins is always a pleasure to work with!

Relaxing Mini Vacay!

  • 3 of 5

Me and my family had a very nice stay, very relaxing cabin, problem we did have was the cabin came with the washer n dryer but the washer didn't work due to a hose being cut the maintenance guy told us that, the doorknob in the bathroom wasn't working properly my daughter went in to use the restroom, she panicked because she thought she was stuck we had to turn the knob hard a few times to be able to open and also none of the lights worked outside. But other then that our stay was great.

Great Location / Amenities Need Upgrading

  • 3 of 5

The location and cabin itself are great. However, the amenities need major upgrading. Very little pots, pans and kitchen utensils. The ones they have are very outdated and chipped or rusty. The toilet paper is the cheapest you could buy... the towels are even worse. The two bedrooms and loft are nice, but the beds are really bad as well. Very firm, old, and low quality. The jacuzzi stayed hot and worked well, but the water seemed filmy and not clean. Overall, we had a great trip because of the memories we made with our family and friends, but the lack of passion the owners have for their cabin is evident. A little money and hard work on some upgrading would go a long way.

Good place to stay with kids.

  • 3 of 5

The best thing about this cabin is the view. The beds were comfortable but the couches were not. There is a loft with bunk beds and games for kids to have their own area.sitting area is small and very uncomfortable. However, the tv and wifi worked great. Bring your own toilet paper unless you don't mind scratchy toilet paper.
