Dirty
This place was very dusty! The hard surfaces where clean, old but clean, all the furniture was very dirty! The jacuzzi had so much clorine in it could'nt be used, eyes burned standing next to it. BBQ , again old , dirty , filled with grease and old food!! Both upper and lower decks had cigarette butts and not just 1or2 , a lot!!! I gave 1 star for the view!! Nothing good about Moonridge!!!

Moonridge Retreat at snowstorms
old property, lots stuff broken, lucky the maintenance guy came by and help us fixed the heater issue at the first floor. But the first floor carpet is complete weat due to water leak.
Last minute getaway
We didn't get to use the hot tub because the temp was lower than it should have been when we arrived. Even after setting it correctly, it didn't heat up until the next day when we were checking out. The dog kennel area isn't very secure and ended up not using it. Our dogs could get out from the big gap in the door.

Cute!
It was a cute little cabin up in the moonridge area,. We turned on the heater as soon as we got there and it took a long time for the cabin to warm up. Downstairs was Impossible to sleep as it was freezing!! Upstairs was a lot better but not enough beds given that we all had to stay upstairs because like I said it was FREEZING downstairs! The water in the bath didn't last warm a long time so you had to bathe quickly! Other than that it had everything else you needed pots pans plates no washer or dryer and also no warm sheets just one that my son found downstairs.Beautiful view, it snowed the whole time we were there so it was awesome to be able to run to the back and play under the snow! Overall the kids had a blast so if they're happy I'm happy!
Dear Guest,
Thank you for staying with Cool Cabins. I'm very sorry for the chilly cabin and the inconvenience of the sleeping arrangements because of that. We hope that your snow trip was enjoyable and that you come back to visit soon. We'll be sure to find a warm and cozy cabin!
Needs work
Pros: quiet cul-de-sac, pretty view of sunsets from back patio, large upstairs bathroom with good soaking tub, fenced in area for pet with doghouse. Cons: in general disrepair. Chairs were broken, window screens all torn, sliding glass door broken, spa set at 85 degrees. The downstairs didn't feel creepy to me, but our dog refused to go down to the lower level. Not the greatest place for sure. We wouldn't come back, or recommend it to a friend, but it sufficed.
adequate accomodations
Pros: nice quiet neighborhood, deep tub for baths, nice view of woods from patio, fenced in area for dogs
Cons: in general disrepair: screens broken, furniture broken, hard mattresses.
The ground floor has a small kitchen, well supplied. The kitchen opens into the living room which opens into a room with bunk beds next to a broken sliding glass door. There is a large bathroom off the living room and a bedroom with a queen bed. There are stairs going down from the entryway where another bedroom/bathroom/living space exists. There is a backdoor leading to the spa and back patio from this bottom room. Our dog would not go near the fenced in dog run (ears back, cowering), nor would she go downstairs to the bottom level (she sensed something we couldn't). All in all, it served it's purpose (a quick getaway with a friend). We would not come back to this place again. Spa set at 85 degrees when we arrived.
