What makes this House unique
We pride ourselves on assisting our guests on planning a memorable stay at our lake home. We know a lot about Brainerd Lakes area and we are happy to make suggestions about fun and exciting things to do. Anywhere from having a float plane pick you up at the end of the dock for a bird eye view of the lakes. Or assisting you with a professional fishing guide or helping line up a fishing boat, speed boat or jet ski. If your a biker there are amazing bike trails near by. If you just want to go for a nature walk the Pillsbury State Forest is only a few blocks away. There is also a horseback riding stable within 5 minutes. And for the kids, the pig races are a hoot to see at The Bears Den in Leader, MN. The comment that we most often get from our guests are that the pictures do not do the home justice and that they appreciate all the extras that are included in the home to make their stay more enjoyable.

The property was perfect for multiple families with kids and provided a relaxing vacation.
The property was clean and as described by the listing. The new lift from the cabin to the lake was an added bonus! The owners made sure all of our needs were met. The layout of the cabin is perfect for a multiple family vacation.
50th Wedding anniversary stay
We had a wonderful time at the house. The setting is beautiful and the house was as represented on line. We had people from 9-77 years old that enjoyed fishing, boating and water sports. It accommodated 14 of us with comfort. The owners were very accommodating and responded to us immediately. Thanks for the stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Good set up for a group. Everything that we needed for a great long weekend.
Set up of house
The kitchen was great as well as the master bath. The dining area and the family room as well as the kitchen being together in one open space was great for our family.
What a lovely family!! Very respectful and nice to work with!!
A great property, in a great location, on beautiful Gull Lake
My group of friends and I had a wonderful time at this lake home during our two night stay.
The house is very nice, and features many high end updates in the interior. There was plenty of space to accommodate the thirteen of us. The great room upstairs was especially nice for group meals and socializing. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and we never felt like there was anything lacking. On the back of the house there's a large deck, that easily fit everyone. The deck features stairs on either side, a charcoal grill (and a charcoal chimney for easy starting), and some amazing views. The property sits on a hill, and from the house there's a stairway leading to the dock and fire pit. Overall, there's not much in the way of flat open yard space, but this wasn't a hindrance to our enjoyment of the property. It's also located very close to the golf course.
We rented a large pontoon on Saturday, at YourBoatClub, and had a great rental experience with them, and a great time cruising the lake. The one thing I'd note in this regard, is this property is located in Wilson bay, which is the opposite side of the lake from the rental dock. The pontoon we rented had a top speed for 10 mph, which took us 70 minutes to travel back to the cabin to get the rest of our group. Next time I'd make sure to get a pontoon with a larger motor. The other thing to note about Gull lake, is that there are extended areas where it's only 3 feet deep. At first I was concerned about damaging the pontoon, but then learned that's just how the lake is, and as long as you stay clear of buoyed areas you'll be fine.
Sherry was great to work with, and very reasonable. She has many great contacts for local businesses in the area, and can aid in helping you find and plan activities. Communication was very easy, she responded quickly to any questions I had (email, call, text). She met us a check in, and did a walk through of the property with me - which helped us to acclimate ourselves to the new space better. The house has a lot of lights and light switches, and all of them have handy labels to help you identify what each one does.
We had a great time at this property, and would recommend to anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing time on or near the lake.
Beautiful property right on Gull Lake...heaven.
Well maintained and right smack on the lake. This is a great property for larger groups or groups that want a little "space". Wonderful place.
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed your stay on Gull Lake and we greatly appreciate you treating our home as if it were your own!
