Why Roy Morscher chose Northern Michigan

Traverse City and the surround area has something to offer to everyone and being downtown makes it that much better. No matter what your interests may be: golfing, shopping, wine tours, restaurants, festivals, theater, hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, boating, snow sports, epicurean interests, beer tasting, this condo is right in the heart of it all.

What makes this condo unique

Built in 2004, big renovation in 2013 including tile flooring and new carpet in 2014. This unique getaway condo provides a private, cozy atmosphere compared to what a hotel/motel accommodation can provide. Plus you will be staying within walking distance of the beaches, trails and everything downtown.

Great location for your TC vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four recently traveled to Traverse City and stayed for one week in this condo. The location was great. You can easily walk to town for breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream or travel through the tunnel to cross the busy road to get to the beach. Don't forget to visit the food trucks which is short walk away. The condo was quiet, clean, decorative, spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One last huge bonus...renting through Roy was so could not have been any easier!

Spacious And Quiet In A Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We were three couples with two infants and the condo worked perfectly for us. The bedrooms are all upstairs and well separated from the main living area and sound does not travel. The living area is very open and filled with natural light - plenty of space to chill, eat or play cards. State Street is quiet with e pleasant park across the street. Fast food is less than a minute's walk away and everything downtown is an easy walk. It is just a mile and a half from the Bayshore Marathon start/finish line, so no need for cars or drop-offs (bring your wheel chair scooter for the way home afterwards, though!)

Try The Little Fleet bar just 2 blocks down on Main Street with its corral of food trucks parked out front for a lively atmosphere and good eats. On the opposite side of Main is Paesano's Pizza which has the best BBQ chicken pizza we have ever tasted. On the opposite side of town (but still an easy walk), we had life-changing pancakes and Eggs Benedict at The Town Plaza.

Roy made everything very easy, number-pad door-entry was very helpful and the condo was extremely clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended and a great experience all round.

Why didn't I do this sooner?

  • 5 of 5

Spacious, well-appointed condo within walking distance to downtown. Loved having the full kitchen and space for my friends and I to hang out. This was my first time time booking a vacation rental, and I was not disappointed. The owner is prompt to respond and makes the process very easy, and the directions for staying were simple to follow. My friends and I take at least one or two trips to TC a year in the off-season and I don't know why we've previously been paying just as much, if not more, for rooms at the hotel across the street when we could have been staying here. Great experience.

Girls getaway weekend! Super clean, greatly appointed, organized, laid out perfectly for 4 women to "get away from it all." Main floor - living area, bathroom, kitchen, balcony. 2nd floor - bedrooms tucked away, master has a small balcony, full bathroom. Street is quiet, neighborhood-like feel with park just across the street to the south, but main street shopping and restaurants are literally a walk away! Roy and his team do a superb job of maintaining this condo. If you feel like a walk along the beach - short walk. If you feel like hitting downtown shopping - a short walk. If you feel like hitting McDonald's twelve times a day for a tasty fountain drink - VERY short walk. A+!!!!!

Great condo within walking distance to everything downtown and the beach!

The owner is wonderful to work with, and everything was better than expected. We are already talking about booking again next year.

TC is known for its unique restaurants, five microbreweries and dozens of wineries(!). Every week seems to have some sort of festival, so call the tourism office for details. A fantastic newly-expanded casino just east of Traverse City draws a good crowd without interfering with the family environment of the city itself. World -class golf awaits you so check out for complete reviews of golf courses near Traverse City. If one has been too worn from all the activities, a leisurely walk or bike ride around the neighborhood gives the visitor a sense of what the homes of yesterday looked like, as most homes have been maintained to retain their original and historic appearance. The condo adjoins the TART Trail, a paved biking, running and walking path system throughout the area. For serious hikers/bikers, TART trail extends north to paved and unpaved trails through the backyard woods of the wineries! So much to do and to enjoy! Build your memories here.
