La Tienda

Situated in the countryside, La Tienda will appeal to clients wanting to stay in a typical Canarian property and sample local village life, an ideal choise for those wishing to escape and relax in peaceful suroundings. The accommodation comprises of one double and one twin bedroom, a bathroom and open kitchen complete with oven/hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. There is also an open plan lounge with dining facilities that benefits from satellite, (limited), TV and Hi-Fi system. Outside the villa is complete with its own private plunge pool, barbecue and patio furniture.

Country House La Vegueta

The three villas are part of a large Canarian Country House. La Bodega was an original wine press and store, La Tienda (the Shop) was originally a shop, and El Almacen (the store) was originally a store for the country house. All the villas retain much original character and charm and have an attractive combination of modern style and features. La Bodega is the largest of the three villas in access of 120 sq m, and has a heated swimming pool and whirlpool (heated 52 weeks of the Year). The spacious area around the pool is private as it is walled. La Tienda and El Almacen are situated next to one another, but private with walls around their sun terraces both containing plunge pools.

Quiet retreat

We had a great time here, it's a quiet location and easy to reach all parts of Lanzarote from by hire car. Petra explained everything about the accommodation on arrival. The information folder has good local restaurant recommendations.

The accommodation is spacious and has everything required for self catering. We've been to Lanzarote many times and always find something new to do. The highlight of this trip was the short ferry ride from Orzola to the small island of La Graciosa. Lovely quiet sandy beaches, and a very laid back feel due to the lack of cars.

Spacious and comfortable characterful house with nice garden

Instructions we were given made it easy to find. The location was good for visiting all parts of the island with a car. Petra gave us a good introduction to the local area. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook several meals. The outdoor space was private and provided good shelter for the occasionally strong winds. The village has one near bar and a small shop but it’s a short drive to places with restaurants and supermarkets

old 2 bedrooms bad smelling house

Not recommend.Left in 5th day.Bad smell in a all house.Owner is not who on the site.Originally owner is hidden.I am very disappointed. Waste of money.Never ever go back this place.

Owner's Response: Mr. V. made a reservation to stay in La Tienda, Finca la Vegueta from 5.10 until 15.10.17. I met Mr. V and his travel companion the day they arrived, explained everything to him about the house, the pool and gave further information about Lanzarote and the environment. On day five of this stay Mr. V phoned me and in an angry loud voice told me that La Tienda smells bad. As I was near the building I went over immediately to find out what might be the problem. The house did not smell. La Tienda is part of an old Canarian Finca, with wooden ceilings and thick walls which of course have their own pleasant aroma( fragrance/ scent). In an aggresssively loud voice Mr. V demanded I either find him somewhere else to stay or to give him money back, otherwise he would get his lawyer on the case and would write bad feedback about the house. During all this time there was no sign of Mr. V's travel companion. Because of Mr. V's loud unpleasant tone Michael, one of the other clients staying at the Finca came over and checked the house, saying that the house did not smell and that if Mr. V did not like it, he shoud go. Because of Mr. V's threatening aggressive attitude I had to leave La Tienda, quite in a state of shock and shaking as I am not used to this sort of attitude. Mr. V then left La Tienda the same day

no nos gusto mucho

primero de todo la dueña es una señora muy amable,yo desde mi punto de vista no me parece bien cobrar tanto por esta propiedad, 1 la piscina no tiene limpieza ni moviento llena de bichos ,de 2 lamparas rotas ,no hay barbacoa como la de las fotos sino una vieja barbacoa oxidada y rota ,el piso de la terraza en mal estado,la tranquiladas es perfecta para descanso esta muy bien ,pero la relacion de calidad precio no esta bien estipulada

La casa è molto comoda e bella! Si trova più o meno al centro dell'isola in posizione strategica. E' tranquilla e silenziosa. L'unico neo è l'umidità e l'odore di muffa che purtroppo è rimasta per tutto il nostro soggiorno! Non avendo avuto altre esperienze nell'isola non so se questo è un problema comune a tutte le case vacanza. A parte questo, l'esperienza è stata bellissima!

Owner's Response: La casa La Tienda è integrata in una vecchia finca canaria, con vecchi soffitti in legno e muri spessi. Ha il peculiare odore di una vecchia casa, che non è spiacevole - La casa non ha stampo. Durante il loro soggiorno sull'isola c'era un'umidità molto elevata

Mit dem Mietwagen ist jeder Ort der Insel ohne großen Zeitaufwand zu erreichen. Da neben den täglichen Erkundungstouren kaum Zeit blieb, in der wir uns in der Ferienwohnung aufgehalten haben, wird die Bewertung maßgeblich von dem durchweg positiven Eindruck, den die Insel hinterlassen hat, bestimmt. Wer dem Gewusel der Touristenhochburgen entkommen und Tagestouren unternehmen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

La Vegueta is a small peaceful village in the countryside ,and is fairly central in the island. The nearest beach is at La Santa. The area is recognised for good wine that is produced in the volcanic countryside, and you can sample this in the local bar with Tapas. The village has a small shop and restaurant close by. Access to the large wine growing area La Geria and Fire Mountain is easy by car, and the main town Arrecife is only twenty minutes away. About five minutes away is the village of Tinajo, which has a Supermarket with fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, a bank with cash machine, clinic, chemist, Internet cafe, bakery, coffeshop, bars and restaurants.
