Three adult couples stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We were all very impressed with the comfort, décor, furnishings, EVERYTHING! It was a dream kitchen, well appointed, with lots of counter space and anything someone needed to prepare meals, etc. We took advantage of the propane gas BBQ almost every evening and thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee and most of our meals on the deck.
Holly, the homeowner, was very pleasant to work with.
I would recommend this home to anyone who appreciates a well-appointed, beautiful home away from home.
What a pleasure to stay in such a nice home! We were on the hunt for a new place to stay since the one we'd been staying in for years had sold. My family was skeptical and sad but once we got to our new place, pretty sure no one gave it another thought! Everything was in pristine working condition and the kitchen was very well appointed. There were enough comfy beds for all of us, great bikes in the garage, a TV/rec room upstairs for the teens and Grandma loved her giant suite downstairs. Holly was wonderful to work with, she was prompt and informative and got back to me right away. Loved our vacation!
Our family , four adults, a 17 and six year old, very much enjoyed staying in this beautifully appointed home. Our six year old granddaughter was so excited to wake up every morning to visit with her deer friends who hung out in the back yard. The home is private and backs up to open space. We ate most of our meals on the back deck enjoying an evening glass of wine and the peacefulness of the view. Our family took full advantage of the bikes and pickle ball equipment that the owners had available for us. Not having to rent bikes saved us a small fortune! We are already planning our next family summer vacation in this wonderful home.
Once again (this was our fourth stay at this home), this home delivered a wonderful kick-off to our summer vacation. We're a family with two parents, three kids, and one grandma who have made this home a yearly Black Butte tradition. The location on the cul-de-sac is ideal, and--unlike many homes in Black Butte--the house backs up to forest, not other houses! Little rock outcroppings make for wonderful fort-building and exploration when the weather turns a bit cooler. When it warms up, the home's proximity to the Glaze Meadow pool is ideal. The kitchen is fully outfitted, and the home owners have several unlocked bikes for use. It's not the biggest home in Black Butte, but it's got the best location as far as I can tell, and it utilizes great separation of space so that you never feel on top of one another. We're already looking forward to next year!
We really enjoyed our stay in this house. All the appliances, including the BBQ, were new and modern. We cooked most of our meals and enjoyed the large kitchen table as well as the outdoor table and umbrella. The master bed was very comfortable. We stayed during a hot week with temps in the mid 90's so the house got a little warm during the day but cooled off nicely I the evening. The house was semi private with a nice open area directly behind and the neighbors house was a comfortable distance away. The bikes were in good shape and the kids had fun playing ping pong. A foosball table might be a nice addition for another activity.
We stayed here with four adults and three children and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you could need including comfy beds, a well-appointed kitchen, a nice BBQ and lots of bikes! The property backs up to undeveloped land which was a blast for the kids, they did a lot of exploring but we could still see what they were up to. There is so much to do at BBR I feel like we could have used another week!
