About Kevin Roberts

We bought this beautiful log home in 2008 and have had many wonderful vacations here, enjoying the outdoors and relaxing. We love roasting hot dogs, marshmallows and making s'mores/choco-biscuits (a family favorite :) around the fire pit and playing basketball, Bocce ball, riding bikes, and running and playing in the backyard. We love to fish and hike and have had many opportunities to do just that! The scenery at the nearby Bryce Canyon National Park and Cedar Breaks, etc. are so breath taking and some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Make sure to take a camera! Panguitch Lake is wonderful and has boat rentals. We have taken the entire family on a boat and all the older grandkids were able to catch a fish! On one of our adventures to Bryce Canyon we even found a Geocache, which was very exciting. All around, we absolutely love to get away from the city and enjoy nature and the great outdoors here at our RED ROOF RETREAT!!

Why Kevin Roberts chose Utah

We chose this location because it is central to so many National Parks and lakes (you can even ice fish in the winter), and we absolutely love the quaint small-town atmosphere of Panguitch, Utah!! We had toyed with the idea of buying a home here for many years, and jumped on the opportunity to buy this beautiful log home...the RED ROOF RETREAT, we call it! The towns people in Panguitch are some of the most friendly people we have ever met. They treat you like family from the minute you say hello. We now have our favorite stores to visit and restaurants that we can't wait to enjoy! There is even a pizza delivery if we can't pull ourselves away from the most comfortable sofa we have ever owned! All around, it is a beautiful, tranquil, amazing setting and we absolutely love it!! Can't wait to get there ourselves :)

A quiet retreat with all the comfort of home.

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying here. My five-year-old grandson called it "The Lodge" and thought it was amazing. The yard is huge, the house is unique, the kitchen has everything you can imagine for preparing delicious meals, and everyone slept well. We will definitely come again!

Great location to visit Bryce

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 2 nights. We were two families (11 pers, 4 adults, 7 children) and the house is perfect, very spacious, clean, nice garden. Kitchen very well equiped, we could sit all together around the dinner table.

Bryce is very close, at only 15 mn drive and it is very pleasant to stay in Panguitch rather than an hotel at the exit of the bryce NP, with all the tourists. We used the fire pit, BBQ,... Thanks

Merci Kevin

Nice house, great location

  • 5 of 5

The house sleeps lots of people comfortably. Take your time going down the stairs! House was super hot one day (in August), but the rest of the days were comfortable. Owner is very nice, place is very clean, and with a big party, the instant water heater is a plus.

Bryce is awesome, and Red Canyon has lots of wonderful hikes.

Thank you for letting us stay.

Great place! The house was very spacious and clean. We had two families of 4 and could have fit a few more friends if needed. The drive to Bryce Canyon was reasonable - I would have liked to have been closer but we knew that beforehand. And being close to town (you could walk if you had to) was very convenient - with 4 kids in the house you always end up running out for something. There are a few restaurants in town with reasonable prices if you don't want to cook - but the kitchen was well stocked and there's a decent grocery store in town so we took advantage of that. There was plenty of wood, the kids loved having a fire every night. Also the backyard is fenced and the driveway gated, so it was nice to let the young kids play out back without having to worry. Nice quiet neighborhood too.

My Wife and I were first time VRBO renters. What an awesome experience and a great homey atmosphere. This home is exactly that a home. Cozy, comfortable, and relaxing is just what you need at the end of the day. We all are looking forward to coming back next year and staying here again. All ready made the reservations..
