Restful and relaxing...
A great place to stay. After weeks of 50-70 hour work weeks, the Nutshell provided a quiet and peaceful retreat for me and my wife...and our two dogs. We enjoyed the beach, sun, and beauty of Gods creation. Thanks for everything. We will be back!
Great location to Oval beach and chain ferry to downtown. Will be back.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The city is beautiful!
Beautiful setting and a great little cottage
Great place to stay! Lovely location very close to everything that Saugatuck has to offer. Beautiful street to walk down and look at the boats in the river. Very close to Lake Michigan as well. Would definitely stay here again. It was Wonderful that we could bring our dogs as well.
The cottage has everything you would need from kitchen supplies to shampoo and conditioner and everything in between. The bed was super comfy too
And my kids loved the upper small loft area. They thought that it was awesome.
They had a great outside area to relax and have a fire if you would like. We would definitely stay here again.
Home away from home
My family and I loved the new experience we had at Saugatuck was amazing!!! The Nutshell made our vacation. It was the relaxing space that we needed. When we come again we will stay at the Nutshell again.
This property was fantastic. Close to everything, but also felt private! Everything I needed was there. Having a grill and fire pit was a great bonus. It was the perfect spot for me and my dog to have a vacation not too far from home.
My only recommendation is that the check in instructions make more clear that the address provided is a larger house and that the Nutshell is across the street. Maybe I’m the only one who got confused by this...but would have saved the property manager from receiving a phone call from me.
