You are so close to the ocean you can see the fish from the unit

Our stay at the Banyan tree was exceptional. The furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need. The washer/dryer in the unit was also very nice. The pool area was very nice too. But the best thing was the location. From the unit we could watch the fish swimming right out our window. It was like snorkeling without getting wet! The unit had a small deck that we ate all our meals on. You can hear the waves all the time, we loved that. I would recommend this unit without any hesitation.

Excellent vacation rental

Comfortable, well maintained unit in convenient location. Close to Kona while far enough away from tourist hubbub. Close to Kahaluu Beach for awesome snorkeling (get there early). Great view of the ocean and a nice pool to swim in and lounge around along side the inexorable and melodious waves. Frequent Spinner dolphin and occasional whale sitings from the lanai. Have stayed here before and hope to again. All in all, a marvelous place.

Of note, the owner/property manager should be aware that window adjacent sliding glass door leaks from the top during windswept rain.

Wonderful stay right on the ocean!!!!!

This condo had everything 2 couples needed for the trip of a lifetime. Instructions for arrival was very seamless. The set up of the condo allows for great together time and privacy for sleeping. There was no need for air conditioning. The ceiling fans and windows open did the trick. We never heard any noise from other condos. There was a bit of traffic noise in the back bedroom so we used the box fan and that took care of it. The first night, my friends got engaged down next to the water at sunset. It was a wonderful moment we will never forget. The veranda was great for sunset pictures. The condo also had supplies for us to take to the beach.....chairs, cooler, towels, bamboo mats.....very nice. Thank you. I would definitely recommend and stay there again!

The grounds were nice. The BBQ's need replacing, and the door lock to the pool and BBQ area needs to be repaired or replaced to allow entry. The condo is in dire need of a total upgrade especially the kitchen. Needs to have a pullout couch for a fifth person. The lanai is tiny and the small table only seats two.

A Comfortable Oceanside Retreat

We originally had rented a different unit in this building. Early into our 2 week stay, we needed to move out of that one, (long story). #304 was fortunately available for the full time of our visit. Granted it doesn't have the granite countertops and some other upgraded features, but it was very clean and could not have been a more welcoming space to stay. The balcony off the main bedroom was great. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room were awesome! We could literally watch surfers, boaters and parasailers from morning until evening. The sunsets were to die for.

We have stayed in many condos on the islands. As far as sheer comfort, proximity to the ocean, and location, #304 ranks at the top. The Banyon Tree condominium complex is just lovely. The grounds are extremely well-kept. Dana, the live-in manager, is a wonderful asset. She keeps her building in tip-top shape! The property management company was great to deal with too. We highly recommend the Banyon Tree and #304.
