About John Glader
This townhouse is my winter camp. I love to play hockey and ski. There is a indoor ice rink a couple blocks away and I can also jump on the free ski bus and be on the mountain in 15 minutes. I am a 67 year old guy of nordic heritage so there is ice in my blood anyway. The rest of the year I live at Glacier National Park, so if you have any questions about the park I can point you in the right direction. The Flathead Valley has been my home for 45 years so I know the endless possibilities for having a fun in this beautiful place.
John Glader purchased this Townhome in 2010
Why John Glader chose Whitefish
Central location for easy access to downtown, ski area, and Whitefish Lake and public beaches. Also walking distance to dining, pubs, micro-brew and distillery and one mile pleasant, scenic walk or run to downtown on lighted, very low traffic wide sidewalk path. The Glacier Park entrance is an easy half hour drive on Hwy. #2 . There is a free ski bus at the end of the block. Quiet, friendly, low traffic and safe neighborhood. Locals use this area for walking kids, dogs and biking, exercise walking and jogging. This place is in town but buffered by a walking trail park and wildlife conservation acreage. Deer walk around like pets in the neighborhood. There is a wooded nature walk a block or so away great little walk for kids or a peaceful romantic stroll. Take a short walk to Whitefish Lake Lodge and enjoy food or a cocktail overlooking Whitefish Lake. View of Whitefish Mt. Ski Resort a 15-20 minute drive that has a summer ZIP-line, kids slide and unbelievable panoramic view of Whitefish Lake, Flathead Lake and Glacier Park.
What makes this Townhome unique
There is a wildlife conservation area around the corner so you will see deer, song birds, and pheasants in the neighborhood. This is the neighborhood the locals come to to jog, walk, exercise dogs, and stroll with small children. A very safe family friendly area that is watched closely by the neighbors. You are also easy walk from fine dining or great bar-b-que a mile towards town. A very pleasant one mile walk to town on Colorado Ave. that has sidewalks and antique street lamps for a very safe stroll. Very light traffic day and night.

Great day to day place. Really convenient location. A great stay for our family.
Great location. Well appointed kitchen. Fantastic beds and bedding. If traveling with infants to toddlers, there is all the baby gear you could possibly you could possibly need.
Property worked very well
Very nice place in the owner was very easy to work with and was very accommodating
Great place will stay again and would definitely recommend to others.
Close to the Lodge at Whitefish Lake!
Property was nicely decorated with plenty of bedding for the 3 beds plus pull out twin (plus baby gear/didn't need for our group, though). In town for our son's wedding so needed proximity and this was perfect. Owner let us in an hour early--had no where to go with many bags and we appreciated that! We have rentals ourselves so recognize and appreciate things like fully stocked kitchen (pans, dishes, spices, coffee/filters etc.). If you're in town for touring, it's about 45 minutes to West Glacier. It's a long walk to downtown Whitefish, so need a vehicle to the great downtown area. Has WiFi and TV in small living room/kitchen area. TV/cable was an issue after the first night--even our millennials couldn't figure it out, so we streamed. Owner is near but remote enough so communicating was not always immediate. Our days were pretty full with the wedding, then sight seeing, so TV was not much of an issue. Overall, a very comfortable townhome.
Located one mile north of Whitefish village center. Whitefish Mountain ski resort just up the road with free ski bus stop a couple blocks away. The City Beach on Whitefish lake is close by and great restaurants, pubs and micro brew and distilry within walking distance. There are lighted bike- walk paths to town and a wooded walking park on the north edge of the neighborhood and nature conservancy on the east border of the neighborhood.
We are 30 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier National Park.
