I've been an Annapolis area local since 1988, owned businesses in town, and on the boards of several Annapolis non-profits. Annapolis is my home, and I love to share it with guests!
Owner/Manager, Marie Dall'Acqua purchased this house in 2005
I was looking for a home in downtown Annapolis that I could renovate and make my own. When I found this home, it was a small cottage that I was able to completely renovate. I more than doubled the size by adding a full finished basement and turned the attic into a third floor suite. It was a labor of love, and I am so pleased with the results!
Though our team lost and the streak ended, we had an absolutely fantastic weekend. The house is perfect for entertaining as well. We had some of my daughters company mates and families from her graduating class over for drinks, dinner and dessert. The set up of the kitchen, dining and living room was perfect for the gathering. We were also able to fit three vehicles in the driveway, one super duty truck, one extended SUV and my sedan. The house was very clean and no issues at all. We walked everywhere, great access to downtown. We hope to be back next year to see Navy win this time. Thanks again for everything!
Marie was a pleasure to work with. The home is in fantastic shape, contains plenty of space, has a great layout with a gourmet kitchen and two wonderful gathering areas.....plus the location is top notch! Highly recommended.
This house with a gourmet kitchen was the perfect weekend spot for us with my son and parents. We enjoyed being so close to downtown Annapolis and the USNA!
The house is filled with perfect furniture to relax and a great big dining room table to share meals.
We hosted my family for my son's Naval Academy Induction Day at this beautiful home. This home is so well appointed and convenient that my 84 year old father and mother could not even complain. The main bedrooms have their own thermostat, which felt like a real luxury for my parents. The kitchen is spacious and very well appointed. Our kind host set the dining table to reflect the number of guests we had attending. For Naval Academy guests, the "Maryland gate" (not always open, but was on I-Day) is less than a block away. This made coming and going for events at USNA easy for all in our party from age 9 to age 84. We will book again!
The house was gorgegous with an amazing kitchen! The kitchen appliances are modern and extremely easy to use. The location to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops was within a few blocks, making it easy to maneuver around the town on foot. The drive was a bonus, but if you are expecting more than three cars, be mindful of the street parking as you may have to move your car throughout the day. Ten people slept comfortably with more than enough room. Overall, a wonderful weekend.
We could not have been more pleased with this gorgeous home for our recent girls trip to Annapolis! Marie was extremely accommodating and so great to work with for the weeks leading up to our trip. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. The home is in THE perfect spot - a short walk from downtown and anything you could possibly need. The kitchen was well equipped - perfect for a group dinner in one night. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, and the front porch and backyard were so nice to have for relaxing outside. The listing was extremely accurate, everything was well-maintained, and I would DEFINITELY recommend this property to anyone and everyone I know! Thanks, Marie!
