The Oceanaire is a cozy villa, perfect for the family that wants the beach at their fingertips!

The first floor features an open floor plan with a large living and dining room overlooking the lush vegetation and community pool. The large flatscreen in the living room has access to Netflix and other streaming services (account required). Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors open to the porch with sensational ocean views.The kitchen boasts a large cut-out looking into the dining and living room as well as a breakfast bar. The first floor also features a queen bedroom and a bathroom.

The second floor boasts two bedrooms, including the master! The first bedroom has two twins and en suite bath. The large master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. Both bedrooms have flatscreens.

As a guest in Mariners Walk, you are a short walk or bike ride from all the amenities of Wild Dunes including the restaurants and shops of the Grand Pavilion, world class golf and tennis, as well as wildlife that includes dolphins, sea turtles, and the occasional alligator!

Excellent proximity to the beach

We had a party of four stay 3 nights in December. Property is in great shape, was very clean and well stocked with basics you'd expect in a vacation property. Great view of beach from deck/sliding glass doors in the living room, as well as the upstairs master. Everything worked well in the condo, showers, water pressure, WIFI. Tap water even tasted good, didn't have the usual "beach" taste. TVs in al bedrooms and living room with great cable package. Good noise isolation from the top and bottom floors. We had two couples, one on each floor . However, we didn't have any neighbors on either side so I can't speak to that. Very short stroll to beach maybe 80 yards/5 minutes down a well kept path and boardwalk, which is all yours this time of year. Did not use the pool area due to winter weather but the condo is just on the other side of the landscaping from it. Mariner's Walk grounds were very well cared for as well. Very easy drive to IOP and Sullivan's Island for dining, drinks, sight seeing etc. Also spent an afternoon in downtown Charleston which was maybe 20-30 minutes. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a condo set up.

Amazing condo location

Nice clean condo in great location. Close to beach and pool and many Wild Dunes amenities. Great layout and loved that each bedroom had a full bath-there was room for everyone. Can't beat the views of the ocean! Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation! Will definitely stay again.

Excellent family vacation at this property for second year in a row

This was the second year we've stayed at this property in August - the first year my son was an infant and this past year he was a toddler. This property can't be beat for value, location, comfort, and amenities. The view from the deck of the condo to the beach/ocean is beautiful and my husband and I loved to relax on the deck in the evening and during our son's nap time (the deck has 2 great lounge chairs as well as a 4-top table/chairs). We love that there is a pool in the complex (and the fact that the pool is so closely located to the condo) and the beach is just a few steps beyond (the chair rental company is excellent as well). We also liked that we could see the pool from the condo deck as well. The condo was clean and well-stocked for our needs (there were even leftover beach toys and chairs in the front hall closet). The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out in the living room/kitchen area. The property also was very quiet in the evening and we felt very safe there. We love the Wild Dunes area and think it is very family friendly and we are excited we've found such a great, affordable property in it. We look forward to returning to this condo yearly for our family vacation!

The Property Was Adequate

We had read a number of reviews which were somewhat scathing about the property in general. Of course, we found them after we had contracted so we were somewhat concerned. Fortunately, what we found was better than the other reviews. The property was clean and in good working order. I gave it 3 stars because the furniture was decent for a rental property. The master bed mattress was worn out and sunk to the middle. There are 6 units in each building. We were in 9D. No one tells you, but A, B and C are on the 1st floor and D, E and F are on the second. We had to drag a great deal of bags and cargo essentially 3 flights of stairs. The parking spaces between the support beams is too narrow for SUV's so if you have a larger automobile you have to park across the way, which was not a big problem. The advertisement indicated the property was 80 yards from the beach. That is probably technically correct for the one building adjacent to the beach, but with having to walk across the open space of the beach to reach the ocean...it is further than 80 yards...and all properties are no adjacent to the beach. The pool was nice and well maintained. The separate company we contracted with for beach umbrellas and chairs performed well and were a life saver. If you were going to drag umbrellas and chairs to the beach you would be worn out. I called the Dunes rental company before we left to see if there was a cart to carry things to the beach and any beach toys, etc., in 9D. I was told no and I needed to bring everything we wanted. On arrival, we opened the closet just inside the door and found a beach cart, inner tubes for children, beach toys, play shovels and buckets. The misinformation provided caused us to purchase and carry a great deal of unnecessary things half-way across the United States...when all that was needed, and inquired-about, was right in the apartment. I got the impression the management company was not really familiar with the properties and not interested in more than making sure the property got cleaned...and rented. We left a day early because they "require" the keys to be returned by 1000 am and that requires leaving the apartment by 945 am , which makes for a full morning if your family is not into getting up very early while on vacation. I would not recommend renting this apartment for more than 3 days, unless you spend all day at the beach.

While beach equipment is not standard, it may occasionally be left in the condo by previous guests. Check out is at 10am however, we understand things run slower at the beach! Clean, convenient and comfortable!

This was our second year staying at this terrific condo. Location is perfect: close to pool and beach. Rooms are tastefully decorated, beds are comfortable. Living space airy and worked well for our family of 6. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay here again!
