North Shore Oahu House Rental Photos and Description

Luxury Custom Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, Vaulted Ceilings (Sleeps 4)

The upstairs unit in this newly built custom designed home is located in front of the famous conservation diving area known as Shark's Cove on Oahu's famed North Shore. The location is one house from the beach with access to both Shark's cove and the incredible white sand beach known as Ke Iki Beach (many movies filmed at this secluded beach). After a long day at the beach relax in brand new furnishings that include a HD flat screen (free access to streaming Netflix movies), large sectional sofa, granite counter tops, new stainless steel appliances, fully stocked kitchen, Nova foam or Plush top mattress, and gas grill. We also supply everything you need except your food and sunscreen - so pack light!!

Doorsteps to world class surfing, diving, snorkeling and swimming. Gaze at whales, dolphins, and amazing sunsets, and swim with turtles and tropical fish just steps away. Enjoy a walk, jog, bike ride (4 cruisers plus toddler tag-a-long bike) from out your gate onto the beautiful tropical bike path (3 miles one way). Additional activities close by include hiking, tennis, basketball, and skateboard park. Other conveniences just down the street include paddle board, surf board, and water toy rentals, and the local grocery store (complete with The Coffee Bean).

Fabulous eating options abound on the North Shore: A scenic 15 minute drive in either direction offers a sumptuous variety of local, international or resort cuisine. Locally grown fruit and vegetable stands are just down the road. Ted's Bakery is just around the corner (Chocolate Haupia Pies!).

Just a short drive along the North Shore coast will bring you to Turtle Bay Resort and Spa. Play a round of golf on one of two professional grade golf courses, one of which was designed by Arnold Palmer and home of the PGA Champions Tour, or spend a soothing afternoon at the Turtle Bay Resort's Spa. Just a little further down the road, enjoy a visit the Polynesian Cultural Center for displays of Hawaiian culture and a Luau.

Lower unit studio may also be available (sleeps 2) when not occupied by owners.

Better than you can imagine!

We did not want to leave! The location of this house is amazing! A three minute walk down the bike path right outside leads to great snorkeling at shark's cove, Waimea valley and bay are only a five minute drive away, and the great food trucks and a 24-hour food land grocery store are just 90 seconds down the road. It had the remote island feel with all the amenities of home. We absolutely plan to return!

Lovely home

  • 5 of 5

I can't say enough good things about this property or the family that owns it. From start to finish we loved our stay there and would go back in a heartbeat, next time we find ourselves on Oahu. We came in very late, around 2 am and Corina and her family were fine with our arrival. Their home was very clean and comfortable. They had all the toys we could ask for to play on the beach, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, bikes probably more but those are the things we used. We were one happy family.

Triple A Rating!!! - AMAZING, AWESOME, ACCOMODATING

GREAT RENTAL. This is our 5th year in a row to the islands of Hawaii since 2012. We have rented many VRBO's on all the islands and ALOHA CASA is definitely the most cozy, warm, inviting, homey, clean, comfortable and well-stocked unit we have ever stayed in. It was only my wife and I but the rental would easily accommodate 2 couples or a family of 4. Aloha Casa is situated in a FANTASTIC location on the North Shore, within walking and easy biking distance for many activities. (watch surfing at Pipeline and Sunset Beaches; Waimea Bay beach, Waimea valley park &waterfall; snorkeling at Shark's Cove etc.) The ~3-4 mile walking / biking trail that runs parallel to the coastal highway can be accessed right outside the rental and is great for a nice walk, a evening ride on the cruisers or a morning job. The wide range of choices of snorkeling gear made snorkeling at Shark's Cove (walking distance) very enjoyable and convenient. The 2 "Beach Cruisers" (bikes) were a great perk. We used them every day...even to pick up an extra bag of groceries from the nearby FoodLand if required. Carina & Chuck are very nice and helpful. Carina gave us some great tips that we took advantage of (ie..how to get to Kawela Bay, the hike to the Pillboxes overlooking Pipeline Beach; Waimea Bay Farmer's market & to top things off..recommending a fantastic surfing instructor for my first surf lesson (Got up on my first wave!!). The rental was very cozy, roomy, comfortable and cute ...stocked with every possible kitchen and bathroom item that you could possibly ever require. We would not hesitate to rent here again if we are ever back here on the North Shore. !!

ALOAH CASA WAS OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved staying at Aloha Casa! Carina and Chuck have thought of EVERYTHING. The house is adorable, from the beautiful hibiscus flowers painted on the front door glass to the interior decor; you will feel like you're home from the moment you step through those beautiful front doors. We used the bikes a lot to check out the beaches along the bike path. You can ride to Ted's Bakery, Ehukai Beach Park, Sunset Beach, the many food trucks in the area and Foodland. Just five houses up the road is beach access to Ke Iki beach and it's gorgeous. You can walk there in the mornings to look for sunrise and puka shells and witness some amazing sunsets in the evening. We so enjoyed our chats with Carina and appreciate her keeping us informed about local events while we were there. We just had the best time and it was nice to come back to Aloha Casa at the end of each day. We enjoyed calling it home for the week and we will definitely be back again.

The "Aloha House" = Happiness

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Carina and Chuck for sharing your beautiful property. The North Shore truly is the "real" Hawaii (away from the Honolulu business). Everyday back from the beach and activities felt like we were coming home. The house is very clean, comfortable and has all the amenities you would need (bikes, snorkel gear, beach towels, laundry, fully equipped kitchen).

Beaches are in walking distance and also the house is located next to a 3 mile bike path. The surf can be a little rough in the winter, but we found our swim places and even snorkeled with the Sea Turtles. We're a small family of 3, but this was so perfect, we have already booked a return for 2016 - Mahalo!
