it is not surprising that I have owned Real Estate since 1978.I bought 3houaes for 19,000 for rental.I had goen to college early and dropped out to make a furniture store and then a hair styling shop fun .I thought of water beds for the burn unit at Lexington County hospital and sold to them (with added heat and off the floor) That was my 1st idea was get these beds off the floor and looking like regular beds ...we were renting from Tom Jenkins at the time in a temporary shopping mall on broad river road ..1st malfunction junction.. I was at 18 an buyer for the store ( from atlanta furmostly) , financial lender of Commercial Credit, and head of sells, and part owner of Whit-Ash . original art , I personally did the TV ads so 250,000 people thought they knew me .the store was one of a kind...people bought furniture that was one of a kind like a piece of art.We moved to Gervais Street and grew ...I wanted to go on my own so I left and started a hair styling shop called Casa Blanca . What a fun business and we were very successful. Then I burnt out at 33 ...went back to College and took out student loans that I invested in stock market . . I saw my opportunity to move to Isle of Palms after Hugo and bought my 1st house in 1990 and started flipping houses , renovating and selling with building knowledge and interior design. I feel it is an honor to be able to live on Isle of Palms. I have known, sold or shown most homes here. I know investment . I have been reviewed by people who refer clients ..I am easy to deal with an a straight shooter kinda Woman. I am a professional that knows great investments with building knowledge and interior design. My Father and Mother built bought, sold, did politics ,Boards and taught me well.I currently sell Real Estate on Isle of Palms plus serve a Trustee on commercial property in Lexington Count

Built in 1948 has solid heart of pine floors and beams..it was the home for all kids in the neighborhood came to play and I felt it the moment I walked in.. ..location location across from beach but off Palm Blvd that has main busy traffic. It is classic design that is popular now because of it's Greek columns and white siding and blue shutters that remind me of Monte Carlo. The interior is done by me with classic furniture including a metal 1930 claw tub that has original fixtures that have never needed any repair.It will be a great home for another family who could raise for a view of ocean or just rent for an fantastic income till they retire. The house has a number of possibilities .I love old and not every body does I did not want to raise the house because of walking up that flight of stairs but if i did i would put in an elevator... ..so if interested and want my ideas of 49 years of handling property, stocks, financial advisor, or Trust handling. You can rent monthly or annually furnished or not furnished The house has a 6ft white solid fence around it.Hot tub in back yard . No smoking anywhere but off property . Close top of hot tub or leafs will clog up filter and affect quality of water and motor
Have all dishes in the dishwasher..replace products you use..please leave as well as you find..a maid can be hired to clean up while you stay..

Great weekend getaway
Perfect location, great for several family members and especially liked the separate area for son and his family giving the grands somewhere they could nap away from everyone else.
Great location, but can't recommend
The owner seems to have trouble keeping track of her online bookings. After we arrived, we found a note that read, “I have no record of your booking, which site?”
On our last night at 5am the owner came knocking on the back door. The person in the closest room woke up to the knocking, but then the owner left and tried to open all the other doors. She then returned and left a note that read, “this booking was up yesterday at 11am.” We double-checked our VRBO reservation and it was up that morning, not “yesterday.” As a house full of women it was disconcerting that someone we don’t know was trying to enter at such an early hour in the morning. We never saw the owner at a responsible hour, we were just left passive aggressive notes. We also didn’t get a response after messaging the owner to clarify the reservation information.
The house is in a great location for the beach, but could use some TLC. There was a hole to the outside by an air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms, which we had to put a towel in to keep bugs and heat out. When we tried to open the lower level pullout couch to set it up, garbage came falling out of the sofa.
Well the note was left becauseI was thinking your Mother booked stay because everyone staying looked to be underage underlined by the fact you kept every body awake in neighborhood coming in at 2 o'clock in morning drunk.
The hole you referred to was an extra window unit extention open a out 1 inch square.The shower head was broken by someone??? The thermostats as stated instructions are in hall up stairs and beside T V downstairs .There was someone raping on your door in morning because you again had come in at 2 am and maid was due at 11 to clean for next renters ..If you had notified owner all maintence could be fixed but you did not want anyone to see how many people were staying nor be awake before 8 pm next day

This worked great for our needs. The separate apartment area was great to separate two groups. Loved the hot tub! Nice quiet street with easy access to the beach.
Nice home close to the beach
This home is perfect for a beach visit. There is plenty of room for guests and Captain Rachel is always close by if you need anything. Great place to stay!
We had 10 people and the house worked out great. Plenty of room and we could let the boys play downstairs. It was Great!! Captain Rachel was wonderful!
We have not received our security deposit for our stay in September 2015. I have talked to the Owner on at least 3 occasions last year giving her our address 2 times and still have not received our deposit, as promised. We left the property cleaner than when we arrived. There was a problem with the master bed. The mattress apparently did not fit and was so noisy that one could not get a good night's sleep. The house could use an exterminator inside and outside. We have stayed at numerous locations on the Isle of Palms over the last 15 years using VRBO and others and did not have any of these problems.
A complete recrearional facility a block from home..soccer ,basket ball , tennis..etc Across from beach in a cul-du-sac..perfect off the busy road but half block either way to beach access...4blks to Isle of Palms downtown you can walk by beach...or Morgain's Creek where Bill Murray hangs out...20 mins form downtown Charleston #1 city #1 apt #1 location for price
