Although my property is waterfront, it has no direct beach access because of the high bank. But just a short 5 minute stroll down our quiet waterfront road, you will find access to over 3 miles of private, community beach for plenty of beach combing. The trade off for the privacy is worth it. :)

Dad grew up in the Skagit Valley area and came back again to retire. I fell in love with Camano during my endless outings with Mom & Dad.
I started looking, along with an agent, for the perfect little beach property. I knew I wanted to be on the Eastside. One morning, checking my e-mail before leaving town on a trip, I received information and 3 photos of a 'new waterfront listing' . I called my agent as soon as I got to the airport and asked her to look into it. The next thing I knew, I was coming home to my new Beach House. I had bought it sight unseen! Besides trusting my agent, and knowing a bit about the area, it just Felt Good. I'll never forget the 1st time I drove up and saw it... I just sat in the car with tears of Happiness.
I spent a few months updating my new home and the past few years creating wonderful memories with family and friends.
I am currently working on a new project and wish to share my Beach House with you Making Wonderful Memories with yours!
Jama purchased this house in 2005
Less rain / lots of sun,
The Quiet and privacy of a high bank yet just a short walk to the beach.
I'm on 'Island time', away from the tourists.
Just an hour to Seattle, with no ferry, if I do need a 'city fix'.
My plants/flowers are happier here...
The property was very well kept with a very homelike and cozy feel. Enjoyed our stay very much. Jama had several little extra amenities with the wonderful body washes and lotions. We were greeted with homemade cookies on the counter when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others wanting to travel to the area.
The home was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable with amazing views. There was an eagle who flew past daily and sat in a tree on a neighboring property. Tons of different birds could be seen through the large windows thanks to perfect landscaping. At check-in we found loads of helpful information about the house and local food and attactions. Jama was great to work with and the home was perfect with lots of special touches.
The house was cozy and absolutely beautiful. Waking up every morning to that gorgeous view of the snow caped Cascade Mountains across the inlet was worth the trip. The pair of adult Eagles would fly by and at times land in a nearby tree several times a day. The house is located with easy access to La Conner and the tulip route which made vacationing very easy. We had easy access to the beach and we enjoyed roasting marshmallows the last night we were there. We would recommend a stay here to anyone who just needs to get away and relax.
We stayed here for a mom's weekend night getaway to relax and it was perfect! House is well equipped and comfortable! Even prepared for chilly evenings with warm beds, and living room throws for snuggling into the couch. The house is lovely. It was a great getaway and we will certainly stay again!!
Many thanks to Jama for a wonderful stay at such a beautiful home. The home was so comfortable and inviting, I found excuses to stay at home and build a fire and admire the view, rather than go out. The small comforts and details made this house a fantastic retreat.
We had a great weekend stay. The cottage is so well furnished and decorated, with personal touches that make it feel so welcoming. I love when I stay at a place that feels like someone has built a home there. The view is spectacular. And the little garden right outside the window complements the view. We watched hummingbirds all morning!
For you crabbing, Fishing and Clamming hobbyist, there is Cavalero boat launch 1/2 mile up the road or if you prefer the State park launch, within 10 minutes on the West side. Great place to launch if you want to zip across to Whidbey Island.
Bring your catch home and enjoy cleaning in our outdoor Crab Kitchen area.
