Family gathered from several locales and had a wonderful time.

Low key cabin on a quiet lake. We used the canoe and kayaks daily, hiked often in the whites nearby, and fell asleep to the sound of the brook. Great retreat. Thanks Alexander for your place and flexibility.

Beautiful, private and peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this perfect little cabin for 4 days and loved every moment of it. The location is so beautiful, peaceful and private... just perfect! The cabin is clean, roomy, and has everything you could need! We were blown away by how stocked the kitchen was, and how our entire trip we never had to go to the store for anything besides food. We loved canoeing the lake and exploring the woods and stream around the cabin with the kids. It was perfectly private but still not too far of a drive into the quaint little town and things to do. One of our favorite things we did was drive the Flume Gorge in Lincoln, such a cool and unique experience and not too far! It was raining a few days during our stay so it was so nice to come home to a large cozy fireplace. We will surely miss our time at the cabin and hope to come back and visit someday! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

Beautiful cabin inside and out! Loved everything about the cabin and location.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect place for us. We enjoyed having a real fire to relax by each night and having a beautiful view right from the window or on the porch made the rest of the day just as fun. The kitchen was impressive with beautiful new appliances and well stocked cabinets. We cooked in most of the week. The inside has great decorations and pictures that fit The cabin perfectly that aren't in the display pictures so the place feels like home as soon as you walk in. The location is great if you love the outdoors. We went ice fishing and snowmobiling right on the lake and had a blast. The snowmobile trails start right down the street and hiking is close by too. We had a great Sunday brunch at the covered bridge restaurant a couple exits south that is worth going to if you have a chance. We wished we had more time when our week was up and are already planning our next trip.

Perfect winter getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a hidden gem. My girlfriend and I stayed here with two other couples for a long weekend in February and we had a great time. We ice skated on the lake every day, grilled out at night, sat by the fire, played card games... We had even planned to go skiing at a nearby mountain one day but decided we were enjoying ourselves too much on the property. The property was very clean and clearly maintained well. The bathroom and kitchen are updated, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the owner was very communicative and helpful getting us set up and settled in. Needless to say, the six of us are planning a return trip this season. I am very much looking forward to it.
