This home has it all - great location, wonderful inviting indoor and outdoor spaces, very comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and more! It is located only 3 blocks from the Morro Strand State Beach in a friendly, yet quiet neighborhood. The owners have recently added on a spacious patio room in the back of the home, extended the front patio and created a private back patio area in order to give their guests a choice of inviting spaces to gather in. The large enclosed front patio is on the sunny side of the house and has a BBQ grill, patio table and chairs and lounge chairs but there is still a shady area for those warmer days. It is a great place to start or end your day with an appropriate beverage in hand. The home has a combination living room and dining area that opens to the kitchen and the back patio area so there are endless options for people to hang out in. This neighborhood is very desirable because it has easy beach access, it is a great to take a stroll or bike ride around, and you are living among the locals.

This home has so much to offer:

• Living room has comfortable seating for 6-8 people and a beautiful new gas fireplace that is beautiful to gaze at and easily warms the common living areas.

• Patio room offers lots of light, comfortable seating and a second gathering area for your group with a large flat-screen TV and tables for your jigsaw puzzle or crafts.

• Fabulous front patio area where you can kick back and relax with some privacy but still enjoy a view out to the world passing by.

• 3 bedrooms plus bonus sleeping area in patio room. Sleeping for 8 people in very comfortable beds. The master bedroom has a new Cal King size bed, the queen foldout in the patio room is a top-of-the-line, comfortable Tempurpedic mattress. There is also a roll-away bed with memory foam mattress that is very comfortable for children or teenagers.

• Nice quality linens and towels are provided.

• 2 newly remodeled bathrooms, both have shower and tub combo.

• Well-stocked kitchen with great cooking utensils and plenty of spices for your use. Aluminum foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. also provided.

• 3 large flat-screen TVs, all with Tivo, and the patio room has Netflix and Amazon Prime available. There is also a monitor connected to the internet for streaming.

• Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

• Beach toys, a boogie board, beach chairs and beach towels.

• Original art throughout the house, much of it depicting the local area. The owner has also provided many books for the guest to enjoy.

• This home is professionally cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

The Morro Bay area offers many outdoor activities – biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tide pools and much more. There are also many cultural programs offered through Cal Poly and the local artist groups in the area. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don’t want to miss wine tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions. Be sure to check the local publications so you can participate in a few of the many festivals and special events that happen in the area. Once you vacation here, you will want to come back!

We loved this house! We bring a vacation rental box of things we have found we usually need and everything was provided here at the Formosa home! Our dog loved the yard and front patio, our 10 yr. old loved the green reclining chair and the 12 yr. old loved the WiFi. Grammy loved the patio and hot water. My husband loved how CLEAN and well-kept the home is. I enjoyed the master bed comforter. The only downside was that dogs are not allowed on the beach in this area. We made many meals here at the house and washed laundry too. The newer appliances were a real plus along with the info book about the house and area. The neighborhood was quiet. The neighbors are all nice and friendly...we would stay here again!

The perfect beach house! Very clean, comfortable, and quiet with lots of walking/biking trails along the beach. Great restaurants and grocery stores are close by. It was the perfect grand gathering for the grandparents, kids, grandkid, and dog. We will come back.

I've been coming to this house with my husband and dog for 15 years. It is like a second home to us. It is near trails, parks, and of course the 3 mile long beach. And that's not counting the Cayucos beach, which allows dogs! How fun is that! This house is clean, comfortable, quiet, in a small beach community with friendly people. The kitchen is well stocked, and health food stores, grocery stores, and the local farmer's market are close by.The thing we like the most is that it has a sunny front courtyard that seems to warm up on even cloudy days. There's also a simple backyard lawn for the dog. We hope we can rent this house for many years to come!!!

Summer vacation

My family had the pleasure of staying at this property during the week of July 27, 2013. What a pleasure it was to stay at this property. This house was plenty big enough for our group (which consisted of 3 adults, 2 kids, and our family dog). The rental process was extremely easy from start to finish. Arrival at the rental property was well organized and, due to the way it's set up, there is no need to stop by the rental agency first... just go directly to the house and unpack the suitcases and stock up the fridge.

The house itself is wonderful. We've stayed in other properties before and this one was without a doubt the most well cared for and best maintained property yet! The house was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with towels and linens. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed for our week long stay. The location of the residence definately met our expectations. No actual view of the ocean, but sitting in the fenced patio out in front of the house and you could easily hear the sound of the waves crashing close by. A short and easy 2 minute walk down to the beach and the kids were in the ocean on their boogie boards. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. This residence is on the west side ("ocean side") of Highway 1, so there's no busy street to cross when walking to the beach and it's far enough away from the highway so you don't have to deal with the road noise.

The location of the house worked well for us. We made several quick trips into the heart of Morro Bay, about a 3 minute car trip, and a few drives into Cayucos, about a 7 minute car trip. We even did Pismo Beach one day, since that's only about half an hour away. This house is really in the center of everything, but far enough away from everything that it is still very tranquil. We will definately stay at this house again if we have the chance.

WONDERFUL stay for our family of 5

What a GREAT vacation! This charming home was the perfect Morro Bay vacation getaway. The neighborhood has an awesome feel to it...hardly any traffic and kid-aware drivers. Our kids brought their scooters and helmets...we felt comfortable letting them ride up and down our corner. The beach is literally a 2-minute walk. Parking is no issue whatsoever. The home has a welcoming approach. You open a gate and enter a small courtyard on your way to the front door. The courtyard allowed us to spread out on the lawn furniture and read a book in the sun, sheltered from the wind when it blew in the afternoon. Also a good place to stow your kids' toys and beach tools. The home was easy to find and immaculately clean upon arrival. It's appointed with everything we need. The furniture and beds are all very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water for all of us to shower in the morning. Heating worked great when we needed it. Kitchen has all the utensils and cookware required. There's a very nice BBQ in the back yard and we got plenty of use out of it. One of the bedrooms has a table with a television we could use for the Wii or to put movies on for the kids when Mom and Dad wanted some adult time. High-speed Internet came in handy for looking up things to do around Morro Bay. The dining room table seats 6 comfortably. The open floor plan has a nice flow. All-in-all we had a really great time at this home. You definitely won't go wrong if you pick this place.

We stayed at this house while visiting my daughter at Cal Poly. The house was exactly as advertised. There were 6 of us, and the house was very confortable. It was clean, convenient, the kitchen was well stocked, it is close to the beach - perfect for our needs. We would definately stay again!
