Less than 40 miles from the border of Costa Rica is a small group of island on the pacific side of Panama. Isla Paridita is one of the few private islands within Chiriqui's National Marine Park.
The 125-acre island boasts 5 private beaches, each with its own unique characteristics. The bluffs along the island provide spectacular views and nice tropical breezes.
Guests have their own private Casita (Cabin) with reading lights over the double bed, indoor/outdoor shower shower area .See the tropical blazing sun set over the ocean from your private cabana every night of the year!.
This is an exclusive intergenerational family retreat shared with friends of a like minded nature who enjoy the beauty and wonder of our world.
This is an eco-lodge based reminiscent of Swiss Family Robinson. An experience wholly removed from a Marriot or Four Seasons package tour. Come celebrate the beauty of nature in this "out island" on the extreme edge of the National Marine Park. This all inclusive experience is the best vacation value in Central America.

After building a home in southern Costa Rica and spending years vacationing there- tourism started booming. Sailing south on the pacific side we discovered dozens of islands in the Golfo Chiriqui. My son now manages one of these unique islands that our family owns. I am the contact person in the United States for bookings and questions. For an exotic getway - Isla Paridita is the answer.

We were extremely pleased with our stay here. The family managing the propery were very warm and inviting. We had delicious, homecooked means everyday with fresh seafood, some of which we had caught the same day. The island has 5 private beaches, beautiful, with very swimmable water and all to ourselves! The island is very remote, but just what we needed to relax. They offered ample activities during the day, including trips to other islands, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing. Alejandro helped the family with our meals, and he is fantastic! We would definitely stay here again. Its the perfect way to get away from it all and be immersed in the beauty of nature!
It was hard to find out about Isla Paridita on the Internet.
But when we arrived on Christmas day we realized that we had stumbled
on the most incredible Island Shangri-La.
Our host George was beyond gracious.
The facilities have been personally handcrafted with quality and artistry.
Great food, beaches, snorkeling, kayaking, boat trips.
We really don't want anybody else to know about this secret so that we can return
and have the island to ourselves again. With much thanks! John and Tedi
Words can not express how truly wonderful and beautiful the island is. You have to experience it for yourself. We thought four days would be adequate to explore all of the island. Truthfully, we managed to explore about half of it. You will regret not spending more time on the island. It's relaxing, peaceful, and just plain perfect. We enjoyed every moment on the island. The new friends we made will never be forgotten. We are so grateful and feel privileged to have had this opportunity.
This experience surpassed our expectations. We recommend the fishing and boogie boarding (for those who are excellent swimmers). :) You will have much to do, and much to discover on the island: wildlife, beauty of nature, the sand, the beaches, the company, and yes, the food! We had some of the BEST food of any vacation we have taken. There is so much more than we can express here. If you love nature and life this island is just for you.
Thank you so very much!
If you've ever dreamed of running away to a deserted island, far from cell phones and traffic but being fed gourmet food and having your choice of 5 isolated beaches, Isla Paradita is your ticket to paradise. You're sleeping in the midst of nature, without feeling like you're roughing it. We awoke in the morning and went to sleep each night hearing only the sound of the waves on the beach, just outside our palapa-roofed cabin.
Grant and Marbel were the perfect hosts--they are available as much or as little as their guests require, ready to guide you on a kayak trip to a nearby islet or a hidden beach, to take you fishing for the evening's special dinner, or merely to point the way through the jungle to a new vista. Every meal with them was a delight, and Marbel's cuisine was among the best we had in 2 weeks traveling around Panama. We were fortunate enough to have the entire island to ourselves. Our only misfortune was spending only 3 nights.
We rented a car and drove from Panama City (5-6 hrs), parking the car in a secure location at Boca Chica. Rumor is that the airport in David will soon be scheduling direct flights from the U.S., which will make Paradita that much more accessible.
Isla Paradita is the kind of place that you want to keep a secret, despite also wanting to tell everyone you know how incredible it is. The family who own the island have built everything there with obvious love and care for retaining its natural integrity. It's only a matter of time before the real estate boom hitting the Panamanian Pacific coast makes its way toward Boca Chica, if not also the larger island Parida just next to Paridita. You owe it to yourself to visit Paridita, now, before anything has a chance to change. It will be a vacation you'll remember for a lifetime.
