Family owned for generations! This was our grandfather's home. He built this home one board at a time and then added the two rental apartments for income!
This property is so convenient to everything the Ogunquit area has to offer! The beaches, the restaurants, shopping and activities yet it is on a peaceful quiet back street.
The upstairs apartment was so clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay at such a reasonable price. The location was perfect, just steps away from the trolley stop and a block or so from the Footbridge. We walked almost every day from the footbridge to enjoy the Marginal Way. Then, Perkins Cove welcomed us at the end of the walk. What a lovely place. We ate at the Lobster Shack and Oarweed. One of our days, we so enjoyed sailing with Captain Jack on Silver Linings. Most days we walked back along the Marginal Way experiencing the local shops and great dining in the little village. Thank you to the owners for this great place to stay! We hope to return.
This year was our second year staying. We cannot say enough about how clean everything was. The location is perfect. The trolley stop within site of house. The family that owns and maintains the property...well, they feel like my family. There are so many personal touches to the house and apartments and lawn and gardens that you feel like you are at home. I stayed with one of my friends and my two teen aged children. The teenagers could go everywhere by themselves because the trolley was so close and the whole area is so safe. They would rate the property and area 10 stars. Can't wait to get there next year. You don't want to miss this one.
The apartment was clean, simple, and perfect for an overnight stay at the beach. The grill worked great and there are a few lawn chairs for sitting outside while you cook. AC was great to have on a hot night. We would stay again!
We had a wonderful time staying at this apartment! Everything was very clean and as listed. The location can't be beat. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, and also the trolley stop that was just a few houses away at the end of the street. We walked down the beach to Marginal Way, and then on to Perkins Cove for lunch, and took the trolley back. Too many restaurants in the area to choose from. We would love to return in the future.
