This 700 sq ft 1 BR, 1 BA suite located just off of trendy Commercial Drive home of funky shops and fine restaurants and 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver via public transit (skytrain). Stay in a vibrant, family-friendly neighbourhood with bakeries, coffee shops, delis, live music, grocery stores, parks, unique boutiques, yoga studios, community centres with ice rink, pool, natural lake, library, local festivals and events…all within blocks of the suite. Nearby are dozens of restaurants (vegetarian, Italian, Mexican, Indian, Lebanese, Caribbean, Vietnamese, Greek, Chinese, Ethiopian, Cuban, fusion, Thai). The Drive is a great place for anyone who wants to experience Vancouver culture.

We are centrally located and easily accessible by car, bus or sky train to everything you will want to do in the Vancouver area. It is a 10 minute bus/skytrain ride to downtown Vancouver including Chinatown, Gastown, shopping and theatres. We are 10 minutes by taxi to both cruise ship terminals and also the Waterfront station of the Canada Line sky train to and from the airport. It is 10 minutes to the entrance of the #1 Highway to North Vancouver which takes you to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal to Vancouver Island. The nearby Ironworkers Bridge gives you quick access to all the local ski resorts with beautiful hiking trails in the summer and the Highway to Whistler/ Blackcomb Mountains.

We are steps away from a major public transit hub, which can take you downtown in 10 minutes or across the city. There is no better transit hub in all of Vancouver. If you have a car with you, you can get to the highway to go north or east in no time. Local ski mountains are 45 minutes away, beaches are less than 20 minutes away, and we are a 7 minute walk to the best Saturday Farmers Market in SW British Columbia (May thru October).

Location: Ideally situated close to Commercial/Broadway area. Shopping, banking, groceries all close by.

Perfect for an extended stay as kitchen is well equipped,bed very comfortable, living room wonderfully decorated and just the perfect place to unwind. Very quiet neighbourhood, a horticulturalists delight. Walking the manicured pathways, a delightful daily experience. Trout lake and farmers market, just steps away. A great place for a vacation. We're steady customers having been back twice. Definitely a keeper!!!

Felt like home

I had recently moved to Vancouver, and I stayed in Devorah and Franco's suite for 5 weeks while I searched for somewhere permanent to live. The suite is very comfortable and really felt like home - it was private, I had plenty of space to spread out, I could prepare my own meals, and I particularly enjoyed taking advantage of the sunny spring weather in their beautiful garden. The location is perfect, on a lovely quiet, tree-lined street, yet close to public transit, the many interesting shops and restaurants on Commercial drive and the park at Trout Lake (don't miss the farmer's market on Saturdays!). In fact, I liked the area so much that I abandoned my plans to live further out and found a place nearby.

Devorah and Franco were very friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated their local advice on my various questions related to the move. Thanks again for everything!

Excellent suite

I appreciated the comfort of this spacious, attractively decorated and well equipped suite. It's in a pleasant quiet residential area and yet a short walk to the nearby Skytrain station. I was on my own - in Vancouver to visit family and was close to their place as well as being able to get downtown in 20 minutes. The owners were very friendly and helpful and I will certainly consider going back again.

Wonderful stay in Vancouver

My family of 4 (spouse, two young adult children) stayed for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were very welcoming, the apartment was clean and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans for cooking our breakfast. We were invited to share in raspberries from the backyard and hang out there when we wished. The neighborhood was quiet with quite a few restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The skytrain was easily accessible to head downtown. Great place to stay.

Great Getaway!

Our stay at Suite Dreams was fantastic! The suite itself was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The backyard garden was an excellent bonus, providing a private outdoor space for some afternoon relaxation. We were minutes away from the skytrain and always felt safe walking there during the day or at night. It was also an easy walk to Commercial Drive which has an interesting variety of shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

"sweet" suite!

This apartment was cozy and well supplied. We loved the surrounding neighborhood

and the proximity to the bike/walking path and public transportation to the city center.

Restaurants and shopping were just a 10/15 minute walk away on Commercial Drive. Devorah was very helpful and friendly.
