You are within walking distance to 36 holes of golf on top-rated Troon North courses: The Monument (designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish) and the Pinnacle (designed by Tom Weiskopf). Troon North is one of only eight five-star rated golf facilities in North America. Beyond this golf euphoria, you are just minutes from Grayhawk Golf Club (one of Arizona’s most celebrated daily-fee golf clubs mostly because of Grayhawk’s two exceptional 18-hole golf courses – Talon and Raptor). Of course, for the uber-golfer, there is TPC, “The Player’s Club” and home of the Waste Management Phoenix Open. All told, there are more than twelve courses within a ten mile radius of this world renowned property.

The Troon North community is adjacent to a 185 acre mountain preserve that surrounds the famous Valley of the Sun landmark Pinnacle Peak. Here, multi-use trails on boulder-strewn ridges high above the desert floor meander through ancient saguaros, and indigenous ironwood and mesquite trees. Up to the north is a 16,000 acre state preserve for biking, hiking and outdoor recreation. You’ll enjoy advantages of the cooler summer temperatures and cleaner air due to the higher elevations. In addition, you can access the private gated Troon North Community Park offering tennis, basketball courts, barbeque grills, grassy play areas and picnic pavilions.

Our home was the model for the community and includes many unique upgrades of the finest materials. Lighted niches highlight art pieces, the cool travertine floor, all stone sinks, granite counters, and agate showers, soaring 10’ ceilings, and hand rubbed painted effects show the craftsmanship of this community.

Both master suites include king sized beds with luxury mattresses, bathrooms with walk in stone tiled showers with full seats and room for 2, double bowled sinks, separate door commodes, huge walk in closets, and private balconies -each with a spectacular view of the beauty of the desert. Masterbath #1 has a soaking tub for two to relax and unwind. The BR/Ba have two HDTV’s and a multi-zone sound system to keep connected while relaxing or getting ready to go out. The loft/reading area features a queen sized sofa bed with double thick mattress, which easily turns your foursome into six.

The main floor has a casual dining area, formal dining, and a breakfast bar with high end décor and lively, appropriate art. Walk out from the casual dining and there is an outdoor eating area as well. Should your group grow to party size, go right next door to the pool/spa area where the outdoor kitchen and seating can accommodate 20+. You can find card accessories and board games in the laundry room cupboards for fun.

On the first floor, the living area has a 40inch flat screen Sony TV, and the casual dining area has a 32’ Sony, which can be set for the same programming or accommodate different tastes. The entire home has a multi zone professionally integrated sound system, i-Pod docking, and stocked 300 disc CD player. Secured Wireless connectivity is available throughout. In the living area a dramatic stone fireplace (gas) gives you a cozy feel on a chilly desert evening.

The gourmet kitchen features everything you could want when preparing your own meals. High end appliances include gas stove, dishwasher, French doored fridge, wine fridge, microwave, and convection oven. There is a blender, slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker, fondue set, chopper, sandwich press, etc and all manner of bakeware, pans and utensils.

The 2 car garage has an automatic opener and tons of room and is complete with storage cupboards, drawers, and cabinets. There is a small closet in the laundry room for your clubs inside the house.

Fantastic Property & Stay!

The townhome was perfect for our extended family stay. We had 2 adults and 4 children and the townhome met all our needs. Plenty of space and the home was immaculate. We loved the close proximity to the neighborhood pool. Pinnacle Peak hiking was wonderful and within minutes of the townhome, and taking family walks in the neighborhood was also enjoyable.

This was a quiet neighborhood but is still within 10-15 minutes to everything you could need. To the south was more of the city with all the major restaurants and shopping. To the north was the quaint area of Cave Creek, which has more of a small-town, local feel. Try Bryan's Black Mountain BBQ, the Horny Toad, and Greasewood Flats for local restaurants.

The owners were extremely responsive in making sure our stay was a pleasant one. We would highly recommend ths property to anyone.

A taste of summer!

Everything about this place is top shelf! From the finishes and furnishings to the owners, Carol and Eric. This location has great access to all the major roadways, easy to get anywhere - a great home base. Carol and Eric made the whole rental process so simple, it was so quick and easy to get settled in and get into vacation mode. Thanks for all the help and great recommendations for what we should see and do, we enjoyed everything. The golf course at Troon is a must and walking distance to the condo. Hope to see you again soon. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home.
