Florence has captured the heart of our family, which moved to Florence around 1920 and opened a historic leather store in 1929. We are excited to be a part of this wonderful place . Everyday we are amazed with the beauty this city has to offer. We hope that our home will provide you with great times and memories to last a lifetime.
As real private owners we cannot accept credit cards, we do not have a commercial activity with a Vat number. We kindly ask those who would like to book with a credit card, to understand and do not insist
The final cleaning and laundry fee Euro 30 per guest to be be paid upon arrival
All utilities are included: air co and electricity, gas and hot water, concierge and wifi
The City requires all tourists above 12 years of age to pay a “Stay tax” of Euro 2,50 per guest/per night, for a maximum of 7 nights. The tax must be collected cash by the landlords who have to pay it in afterwards to the Municipality Treasury.
We organize tailored guided tours of Uffizi, Accademia and Palazzo Vecchio, as well as Cooking classes and Wine tours. If you need more apartments for a special group we can suggest the best solution with our friends' flats in the neighbourhood, which are all advertised on this website.
I grew up here and I'm now honoured to welcome guests in the apartment we renovated for our family abroad, and give travellers suggestions to enjoy Florence as real Florentines.
NB: we kindly ask you to carefully read all footnotes of the RATES section.
We treat our guests as if they were family guests. We expect that the exceptional help we can offer, may be appreciated. What we suggest is 100 per cent our opinion and cannot be compared to anything a concierge or a tour guide can tell tourists. Hotel staff and guides are mainly driven by their hotel managers instructions and by their own economic interest to let tourists reserve tours and restaurants where they can get a profit. We have always lived in the historic centre of Florence and know 99 per cent of who is who and why and what happens around via Roma.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 1968
My father bought the entire floor to be our family home in 1969.. He had fallen in love with the view, light and quiet of such an unbeatable location with all comforts of elevator and concierge. Our family still lives in this property, in the larger apartment on the same landing, and in case of need, that gives you the benefit of a 24 hours assistance.
View, Elevator and Safe Ideal Location with Medical Service in the building.
Breathtaking view from both bedrooms and balcony , especially at night!
You can lie on the bed and enjoy the view!
Elevator: for luggage and groceries, older travellers and children, allows to come back and rest during the day
Location is ideal. Safe, between the Palace of the Archbishop and Hotel Savoy. Central, prestigious, very quiet, with all comforts and Elevator.

We can't think of a better place to stay in Florenz /a better host.
The view from Bedroom and Balkon is magnificent. What a lovely town! Thank you so much for everything! K. und Alex, Pfalz, Germany
My husband and 2 boys walked quite easily from train station to the apartment . When greeted graciously late in the evening by Irene. She was a wonderful host with all the information you needed to make your stay an easy enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Amazing location with the sound of the Duomo chimes as an alarm clock. Wouldn't have it any other way . Something you have to experience. Walking through this quaint city just has a touch like no other. Thank you Irene , still trying to get the girls together. If not this year ,it will be next. The boys loved it
This apartment could not be more centrally located. The view of the Duomo is as advertised. The shower/bathroom was very good and not small. The beds were comfortable. Irene was a fantastic host who had great recommendations for tour guides, restaurants and other sightseeing. Irene was always accessible. The Wifi worked great. There were many great books, maps and other travel resources in the apartment. I would stay here again.
This is our favorite rental to date! Irene was a fabulous host - she was kind and provided great food and itinerary suggestions. The parking garage she uses was easy to find and a very short walk to the apartment. The apartment was beautiful, clean to the highest of standards, and very comfortable for our family of 5. There were even some Legos and other small toys for our young children. The location was amazing, less than a block from the duomo (viewed from the balcony) and surrounded by an abundance of restaurants and shops. There is an excellent grocery store a block away if you intend to cook. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence!
The apartment is a very comfortable place to call home while in Florence. Very active pedestrian and shopping street but at the same time quiet upstairs in the apartment. We're going to stay there again when we return to Florence.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Irene and our stay in her apartment! The location was wonderful! The apartment was absolutely lovely! Super clean and meticulously maintained! The bed was very comfortable! The shower was terrific! The views are gorgeous! Extremely safe area! Easy access to so many fantastic sights!!
Irene gave us very helpful information that made our touring Florence much easier! She even told us which activities to do when, for best lighting, vantage points and queues - she was incredibly helpful and thorough!
Not only did Irene recommend a garage (to park our rental car in) for us, but she also called ahead, made a reservation, helped us find it, made sure we got a discount and translated the conversation for us! Talk about going above and beyond!
Her apartment wasn't available for our whole stay, so we had to switch mid-trip. Our next apartment was the same price, but it was in a bad area and it felt cheap and unsafe. The maid handed us our key and sent us on our way. It was a very different experience than staying at Irene's apartment. She immediately felt like a friend who cared about our experience in Florence.
We walked around the new neighborhood a little bit with her, and while walking we realized we had some work to attend to. Since the new apartment wasn't yet available, she took us back to her apartment, where we could access her wifi and get the work done. Then she brought us a plate of cheese and fruit!! Wow!!
Overall, Irene's level of engagement and desire to make our trip to Florence special was absolutely unprecedented! I've never stayed where someone has been so respectful, attentive, responsive, lovely, helpful and kind! She is a gem!!
We could easily have stayed there for a month! My husband and I agree that we will base our next trip to Florence on the availability of this apartment!
We spent three nights here in October 2015. The apartment is very clean and very nicely decorated.
The location excellent: one block to the Duomo, four blocks to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, less than 15 minute walk to the main train station. Lots of restaurants are nearby.
Irene was extremely responsive and helpful in setting up our reservation. She was also very helpful in providing advice on things to do in and near Firenze.
We had a delightful stay in a delightful city.
Tours of the Duomo, the Cupola and the Campanile are just steps away.
As you can see on the map, the entrance to the building is on a busy street, 60 meters from the Baptistery and 100 meters from the Cathedral.
