A good stay in Mission Manor

  • 4 of 5

This third floor rental met our expectations and its amenities were as advertised. It was clean and well maintained but needs a few upgrades as it is a bit dated. We were surprised and most appreciative of all the food goodies that were provided to us when we arrived, so that we did not have to worry about breakfast for our first morning - actually, the fruits and pastries lasted for the three mornings we were there.

We had a group of 10 and would recommend that groups of more than 8 carefully consider the accommodations before committing. There are 3 bathrooms but one of them only has a toilet. The location is indeed convenient and close to all forms of transportation. We used the Bart system and it was only a 5-10 minute walk. The walk and bike scores for this area may be accurate if you were going to the west - towards 18th street and Dolores but heading towards the Bart station on 16th and mission will lead you into blocks that are a bit seedy, especially if you are traveling them at night.

The owner and her assistant were very responsive to all our inquiries leading up to our visit and we never had a problem trying to reach them - which is always very important when renting properties. We enjoyed our stay.

Exactly as described

  • 5 of 5

We (4 couples) rented this beautiful home for 4 days to attend ACDC concert and the house had everything that was described in the listing. The stocked kitchen was so amazing for the first morning. The neighbourhood is amazing the restaurants, the sites to see and the access to public transit is great too.

When we go back and I know we will we will be looking to stay here again and explore the neighbourhood more.

Everything and more!

  • 5 of 5

There were 8 of us staying at Mission Manor. This place had everything you could want and more. The bedrooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen is stocked - and we found two of the most valuable items - a coffeepot and wine opener! The apartment was clean with two full bathrooms which was a huge plus for 8 people.

The Manor is in a great area of the Mission. There are many good places to eat and to simply walk to Dolores Park and the Castro was a plus. We used taxi and trolley service to get around town.

Don't think twice - if it is available put in your reservation now. The owner is attentive and very responsive to questions/needs.

Thank you

great location

  • 4 of 5

Myself and 4 fellow peers from around the country stayed here on 3 separate occassions as we completed a year long training program in San Francisco. This flat is clean, in a great area with lots of restaurants, and near transportation. The closest BART station is a little iffy, but it's super convenient from the airport - just keep a good hold on your stuff. The owner makes every attempt to respond to needs and the initial breakfast goodies are super helpful. This is a great 4 bedroom flat. The living room sofa is not very comfortable, I would only suggest it for kids, or if like us, you have 5 people that would each like their own space and you are willing to charge the person who sleeps in the living room a bit less.

Wedding Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Ten of my family members descended on San Francisco for 5 days for my daughter's wedding. The Mission Manor was perfect for us! Neat, clean, very well maintained, well stocked with the essentials, plenty of space, close to the BART,.....I could go on and on. The management was very nice and easy to deal with. We would return! Thank you for helping to make our stay in San Fran a memorable one.

Mission Manor

Our family Runners Club took this place over for the Nike Half Marathon. It is a very well appointed place, with a great location, with convenient access to downtown, and all the cool Mission restaurants, bars, etc. Very professional renting and hand-on/hand-off process, streamlined and unobtrusive. Great place, great location.
