Week end getaway

This cabin was great. It was close enough to get to town fast and far enough out to enjoy the mountains. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a get away. The house has all we needed. We even enjoyed a bear and four cubs visiting the cabin one morning.

Wonderful property and owner.

  • 5 of 5

The view from the back deck is unbeatable. A truly beautiful setting. The cabin was extremely clean and well kept. It had everything we needed. Due to this being our first time to the mountains we were a little concerned about the drive to the cabin however, it was a very easy drive. One of the best things about this cabin is its location. You are secluded yet only minutes away from everything (easy driving). The icing on the cake is how responsive the owner, Marie, was. We did not need to contact her with any issues because there weren't any but when I did contact her for other communication reasons her response was within 30 minutes. An incredibly quick response. If you are thinking about a cabin stay in the mountains you really need to consider this one.

Very pleased!

Aweome Adventure

  • 5 of 5

God's Gift was a great cabin for our family of 4. It was wonderful that it was fully stocked with things needed for the week such as towels/wash cloths/any dish or pan you would need and also dish washer items. The home was clean and had quick internet service. It was peaceful (no other renters near the cabin) and was great to get away and enjoy the quietness of the wildernesses. We had to contact the owner and she was so polite ! I highly recommend for any family needing to enjoy the peacefulness of the out doors. It was close to all attractions and trails

God's Gift was a Blessing

  • 5 of 5

Our summer vacation was such a blessing staying at God's Gift cabin. We were thoroughly pleased with this beautiful place and it's surroundings. The view was incredible and the location was perfect. It was just right for us. We were thrilled with the bear decor inside and were challenged by the previous visitors to find more bears than they did. And we did! Our family will definitely be staying here again and we look forward to our next get way to this beautiful place.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. We have tried to make the cabin as comfortable as possible. We are always trying to improve and upgrade. I've had a lot of people tell me that they try to count all the Bears. I think it's a good little game. We love God's Gift and want all our visitors to love it as well. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us and welcome you to visit with us again soon.

Perfect Get Away

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is well maintained and stocked with everything you need. It is also in the perfect location and minutes away from downtown, the NP, a grocery store and laundary facilities. Additionally, the view is gorgeous and the pictures do not do the cabin justice. Our family enjoyed using the cabin ad our home base for exploring the area. My only suggestion is that because the cabin is built up on a mountain, I would suggest using rt. 321 and Glades Rd. To get to the place.

Cute Bear Decor

  • 3 of 5

We had a short stay 2 nites only.......very cozy porch in the morning for sitting with was stocked with what we needed...nice there was an ice maker.....plenty of towels in the bathrooms.....very cute BEAR decor......nice the out side lights were on a timer for when we returned at nite......would have been VERY dark if they werent......the floor in the bedroom and fan were not clean...dirt and dust on floor and on fan...the bed in that bedroom was TERRIBLE...VERY uncomfortable and any little movement it squeaked.....was dissappointed with that....after a long day out and about you want to have a nice comfy bed to sleep in.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that you were not happy with the bed. We will investigate the bed and see if we need to replace it. We get a lot of compliments about the cleanliness of our cabin. Getting rid of all the dust is almost impossible, I think that's a loosing battle for us all. Thank you for your remarks we will try to correct what we can.
