This nicely furnished two bedroom, two bathroom condominium is located on the popular and pristine Dover Beach in St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, the restaurant and entertainment hub of the island. Amenities such as shopping, grocery stores, banks, etc., are all in walking distance.
The ground floor consists of the queen bedded guest bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. There is a small patio outside of this bedroom that faces onto the garden and pool area. The property has two large pools that are located in an enclosed garden off the beach. This gated community has ample parking and a gym.
The upstairs houses the king bedded master bedroom, and en-suite bathroom as well as the living room, open plan kitchen and spacious balcony with a wonderful sea view.
This property is located in Dover which is the eastern end of St. Lawrence Gap. Everything you need is in walking distance to this property. Dover Beach is a active beach with watersports concessions and an area dedicated to local crafts and food. The Dover cricket ground is just oppposite the beach, you can watch our national sport being played on most Saturdays. Several restaurants are in walking distance and for those who are looking for nightlife, there are several bars and nightclubs a short walk away. You can buy local food at night from the sidewalk vendors (it is safe to it), macaroni pie, fried fish, black eyed peas and rice, fried chicken. Barbados Golf Club is approximately 5 minutes away by car. Surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing are nearby, lessons are also offered.

picturesque apartment in the best location
This apartment is in the perfect spot in St. Lawrence Gap - on the quieter end of the street, but within 5 mins walk of every bar, restaurant and mini-mart that you could want while on vacation! It's amazing to wake up and have breakfast on the balcony facing the sea. The place is well-stocked, comfortable, beautiful grounds and pools and best of all literally on the beach.
Excellent property and location for a vacation
This is an excellent property and location for a family vacation in Barbados. The property managers are responsive and friendly. The condo is very comfortable with all the amenities and more for your stay. Staying on St Lawrence Gap is a convenient walk to the grocery store, souvenir shops, restaurants and bars. The beach has white sand and good swimming for children with little undertow and a life guard station. Access to the highway is convenient if you rent a car (very convenient for touring the island). The condo includes a secure parking space (very important on the Gap) and the car can be delivered (excellent service from Stoutes Rental Car - booked with help from the condo rental agency). The location is close to Highway 7 along Worthing and Hastings and convenient to good local shopping, more beaches (Worthing, Sandy beach and Accra) and restaurants.
As a returning Bajan, I was looking for a lovely property right on an excellent swimming beach with a pool and parking on the South coast and this place fit all those requirements. I highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying here in the future. We would highly recommend this property. It is a large, well appointed unit on one of the best beaches in Barbados. It was wonderful to have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. A rental car is not needed since the property is within walking distance to great restaurants, nightlife and public transit. Yet it is far enough away to be very quiet. We even caught a cricket match on the pitch across the street. The property managers were proficient and well organized. We would definitely rent this property again when we return to Barbados.
We stayed at this unit from December 3, 2011 through to December 14th, it was great. The listing did not do the place justice. It was well appointed, clean, comfortable and had all the amenties. If we come back to Barbados this is the place I will book next time and have already recommended it highly as a perfect spot for a holiday. It was close enough to bars, restaurants but on the sideline so that it was still quiet at night. The property was secure and we felt very safe here. My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay here. It was awesome to be able to step out onto the beach for a swim, then make our way back through the gate, shower off and climb into the warm, beautiful pool. It was a vacation of memories. Thank you.
Two friends and I visited this wonderful place in May. This place was awesome! The condo is is right on the beach with easy acess. We arrived at night and took a dip in the ocean where the water was so clear we could still see underwater despite being at night!
We really enjoyed the friendly people. The rental staff was very helpful. The neighbors provided us with great conversations and were some of the most caring and selfishless people I have ever met!
This is truly a great deal too! We are planning on coming back soon. 1400 sq ft condo on the beach in Barbados! Really!
