I am a scientist, organic chemist, and work at a biotech in San Diego. My wife Maggi, is a Realtor in San Diego and Mary is a geologist and owner of her own company. We jointly own this property. We love nature, kayaking, scuba, snorkeling, hiking, swimming, dining, entertaining and meeting interesting people.

We were mesmerized by the natural beauty of Loreto Bay. We found the people of Loreto Bay and Loreto so interesting, engaging, and friendly. A short drive (about 7 min) to the new Loreto international airport, 10 min to town.
A very short walk to the beach (107 yd). Long walks on the beach in the sun or long days just being on the beach under the palapas. Kayak trips that last for hours. We typically see abundant wildlife: dolphins, fish, rays, birds. Whale-watching (Jan-Mar) is incredible and requires only about a 3 hour drive on excellent roads to the Pacific Ocean (you can book a trip or drive yourself). Loreto Bay is a golfer's paradise! End the day in our viewing tower with spectacular views of the mountains and ocean.
Very relaxing, laid back Founders village casa. Loved the town, everyone from the cafe's, grocery store to restaurants were really nice & helpful. Renting a car we were able to explore Loreto, go whale watching on the pacific side and to the San Javier mission in the mountains. The beaches are great, the sea life is amazing, lots to do in the water. The Loreto bay hotel patio was our on the beach afternoon Pacifico, chips & guacamole. Yum. Can't wait to go back.
This rental is great! Very well equipped and VERY well located. Beds comfortable and very quiet. Everything was clean and the management company was fabulous. I would definitely go back.
The only issue we has was that the main living area was dark. The lights seemed to have really low wattage. At night it was very hard to play a card game, put a puzzle together or to read. We also had an issue with the speed of the internet.
This little village is perfect for a quiet vacation in the sun. Very friendly residents and staff. Wonderful and reasonable places to eat.
We went down to Loreto to enjoy a long Thanksgiving weekend. The house is perfect for cooking and making drinks at home or close enough to the town of Loreto to enjoy one of the great restaurants. We spent our sunsets up in the viewing tower with homemade guacamole and a margarita, then would head into town for a nice dinner. We took advantage of the fishing, golfing and the beach that is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to our next visit.
Our comfortable vacation at Bahia Encantada Casa provided the perfect way to relax without a car. We took a taxi to & from the airport, but stayed in Loreto Bay for our entire week. Restaurants are close by with excellent food. We could snorkel from the beach, and Desert & Sea Expeditions picked us up on the beach for a half day tour of Islas Carmen and Danzante. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Margaret's house is lovely and well maintained. It comes equipped with all the necessary basics and is located very conveniently to both the pools and the beach.
