The Moose Lodge is great for groups, it has 3 bathrooms making getting ready for the day's activities much quicker. 3 floors make it a great house for parties, movie time, and quiet time........... all at the same time.Yet the Moose Lodge is intimate enought for a romantic get away, honeymoon, ect..
A favorite spot for families, ATVer's,snowmobilers, fly fisherman, wooden canoe enthunist, kayaker's,hiker's,white water rafter's, upland bird hunters, deer & bear hunters and don't forget Moose hunters.Bird watching, reading,or just solitude.
We are on the Trail system for both Snowmobiles & ATVs & UTVs, offering hundreds of miles of maintained trails and Jackman is the Hub of the trail system. Also we are only 16 miles from the Canadian border which offers thousands of additional trail miles. The Moose Lodge has a trail around the properity so you can ride in and ride out. This year we will have additional trailer parking to help with congestion
We are originally from Pennsylvania and have recently relocated to Jackman Maine. We always looked for beautiful places to vacation and be in the outdoors. As a result we decided to start a vacation rental business in the heart of the snowmobile area in the north woods of Maine. We own a high end complex of vacation rentals in northern Maine. We pride ourselves on high end accommodations in beautiful areas. The North Carolina mountains are a good compliment to our facilities in Maine and offer many similar outdoor activities but in a somewhat warmer climate for those who want to escape the cold. This area in more populated and attractions are more plentiful. Everything is more centrally located to the unit. We have had great success in the north woods of Maine and we have many repeat customers who enjoy our facility year after year. Our mission is to provide our guests with the best possible accommodations in the most beautiful and scenic locations that we have been able to explore and acquire. Please take a look at our website www.mooselodgemaine.com.
Ed & Peggy Kozak purchased this chalet in 2005
This is the perfect place to escape from it all. With high pressure jobs we always wanted to get away to a place that was peaceful and without the pressures of cell phones etc. The Maine wilderness is the perfect place to relax and unwind. You can experience all of Maine's four seasons in a luxurious home away from home. This isn't your ordinary cabin in the woods..... it's a retreat like no other!
We were a crew of 10 and 1 toddler and the lodge suited us absolutely PERFECT!! Everything/every room was as listed or as seen in the photos. Everything was clean, kitchen was well stocked, enough towels for a small army and the beds were comfortable.
Unfortunately due to old man winter not showing up for the season, we didn't even bring the sleds so our days consisted of mostly hanging around the lodge. Between the sitting area downstairs, living room upstairs, 2 kitchens and the Jacuzzi outside, there was plenty of room to spread out. If we had brought the machines and gear the downstairs is a perfect spot to get dressed and just walk right out the basement doors to the machine parking area.
Ed and Peggy were great to deal with right from booking all the way through departure. They stopped by a couple times to make sure everything was just right for us. Ed even brought by some deer feed to put out (And yes the deer came in, 15 or 20 at a time) and he also gave us some great pointers on using the outside pizza oven. Thanks you guys for making it a great memorable weekend.
Overall PERFECT experience and we've already booked a couple weekends for next season (hopefully we get to ride). See you in January!
Mike and the Gang!
A little long overdue, but all I have to say is that the Moose Lodge was an excellent place to stay. Very spacious, cozy, and clean. The hot tub was excellent and great during the time, so no problems with that. There were plenty of towels and accommodations by Ed and Peggy. Rooms were as pictured, if not better. Don't hesitate booking your vacation here, cause it's definitely a great place to stay.
Only wish we had more time! The Moose Lodge was above & beyond any accommodations we've EVER had in the area. My husband is an occasional whitewater rafting guide at Three Rivers, having obtained his license 12 yrs ago. We come up 3-4 times during rafting season, usually stay at Inn on the River or one of the rustic cottages on Three Rivers property. This stay was FAR from rustic! Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided, the toiletries, the woodwork, the hot tub! We didn't get to use any if the cooking provisions - but we'll be back for a longer stay to try out the outdoor brick oven pizza maker! The giant canopy bed with comfy mattress & incredible pillows was a gift at the end of a day full of adrenaline & exertion on the river! Highly recommend this property! Easy access, directions, parking and spotless. Thank you Ed & Peggy!
Our party of seven women had a wonderful time staying at the Moose Lodge - couldn't have been better! The accommodations were luxurious and we found everything we needed and plenty more! Perfect getaway which included enjoying the property, white water rafting the Kennebec River and relaxing with friends. Highly recommend - a jewel in the area for sure!

This house is the perfect getaway from fast pace life. Master bedroom and bath are beautiful. Lower level bedroom is under construction which took us by surprise. Home owners greeted us upon arrival and gave us the house tour. Two full kitchens could use some organization as running up and down stairs became old very quickly. Hot tub was not working at all which was a disappointment after a 6 hr bike ride it would have been nice. Overall I would recommend this house
Other Activities: Canoeing (Moose River Bow Trip), Snowmobiling extensive Trail system, & Off Trail and Extreme riding Available
