Portland Apartment Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 7)

Beautiful 1908 Craftsman home(upper apartment) in the heart of one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Portland. This is urban living at it's finest. Beautiful, high end historic homes, gorgeous tree lined boulevards, wonderful people, and extremely close to many wonderful restaurants and shopping. This is one of the best neighborhoods in Portland without a doubt. The wonderful and energetic neighborhoods of Alameda, Beaumont-Wilshire, Concordia, Laurelhurst and Grant Park all surround Historic Irvington, but she is the Grand Dame of them all!

A car is not absolutely necessary, walk to the MAX(transportation system) in10 min and the bus line is 200 feet from the street. You are a 5-10 minute walk from literally 20 restaurants. 5 minutes walking to Lloyd Center and 8 minute walk to the Rose Quarter. Downtown/Pearl District is a 5 minute drive or 9 minutes on the MAX.

Your upper, secured apartment has been completely restored with the original hardware. This home has been extensively remodeled in every way. Old world style, wood framed, dual pane windows keep the unit cozy in winter and cool in the summer.

The vast majority of the vacation rentals in Portland operate illegally, but this house has the coveted 'Conditional Use' permit that the city requires in order to run a vacation rental for short term stays permit # 08-175885-000-00-LU. This house is a legal B&B, but has 3 separate, fully locked and functioning apartments. There are no shared spaces. Please ask us about alternative transportation options.

Our caretakers live onsite, tucked away in an apartment on the main level. Feel free to ask them for help at anytime.

No details have been spared with respects to furnishings, this is a real upscale home with all the accoutrements you would expect(or hope to have) in your own home. Viking range, stainless steel appliances, 32' flat screen TV, Bose stereo, Francis Francis X1 espresso machine, wireless internet, stainless steel cookware and handmade copper pots I brought back from the north of Italy!

A raised herb and vegetable garden on the south side of the house is available to you.

The backyard is available for the guests of this unit. It comes complete with an herb garden(for your cooking pleasure) pergola and built in stainless steel BBQ and sink. Enjoy Portland's weather in complete privacy. You will get our recommendations for activities and complimentary coffee and tea.

The unit is extremely luxurious, it will guarantee you a wonderful experience in Portland. This is a beautiful home, and we absolutely love it. We know that you will feel the same. Come and be part of our family as you sample all that Irvington Neighborhood and Portland has to offer!

About The Owner

My name is Mark Reinoso, and my wife's name is Abigail Stewart. I have a daughter, Lauren, from my first marriage. Abby and I have a 6 year old son together, Rocco and a 2.5 year old girl named Zara(pronounced za-da)

We spend a lot of time in Portland, and since we spend 2-3 months here a year, I can honestly say 'welcome to our home!'

The Owner purchased this apartment in 2005

Why The Owner chose Portland

I have always loved the Pacific Northwest, though my daughter, family and my business are in Phoenix. Most of my maternal family is from this area, and many relatives still live near here. My mother was born in Vancouver, WA and used to come down to the Lloyd Center to shop with her mother when she was very young. She has fond memories of this place. When she first saw this house and this neighborhood, she literally cried.

I have always had a great time here. I love the neighborhood. I love my neighbors and the general vibe that Portland has. I love the people, and even the weather(most of the time). I enjoy the fact that you can go hiking or biking in the AM, and be back in time for lunch at a fabulous restaurant. I love that nothing looks the same, that everything is unique. This is definitely not suburbia.

What makes this apartment unique

I guess I could go on and on, but I really like the urban lifestyle. You can walk anywhere from the Irvington Neighborhood. The gardens and yards are just unbelievable.

There are tons of great restaurants and coffee shops everywhere you turn. Portland is such a great destination in every way, and I think Irvington neighborhood is the crown jewel of it all.

I have put tons of money and all my heart and soul into this property, and I think and hope it shows. I hope you enjoy this house as much as I do.

Perfect for a girls' weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I traveled to Portland to run the Vancouver, WA half marathon. We wanted to all stay together vs. multiple hotel rooms and Irvington House fit the bill perfectly. The location was perfect - just 8 miles from our race location, but less than a 10 minute drive (or a healthy walk) to all the different neighborhoods in Portland. We rented a car and parked the car right in front of the house. The owners were responsive to all our questions prior to our arrival, and while we never met the caretaker who lives on site, she was very welcoming and also responsive to our emails during our stay. The apartment was very well cared for - it was clean and fit the 6 of us perfectly. We appreciated the little things like soap and bath gel as well as a hair dryer and plenty of towels. Free laundry on site was also great to wash our post-race clothes. The neighborhood maps of Portland came in handy for our daytime excursions. I can't really think of anything that would have enhanced our experience in Irvington House. A few of the outlets did not work in 2 of the bedrooms, but we figured it out all the same. We will definitely stay at Irvington House the next time we travel to Portland!

Wonderful apartment and perfect lovely location

  • 5 of 5

We spent four nights with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. The apartment was spotless and perfect for us. We loved having an fully equipped kitchen with dining table open to the living room. Also loved having a separate upstairs bedroom with half bath. The on site manager, Andrea was very helpful the few times we had questions. The owner was vey responsive and helpful from the start. The neighborhood is lovely and the house is close to many restaurants, a supermarket and public transportation. We parked on the street with no problem. A lovely stay all around. We look forward to returning.

Fantastic Experience

  • 5 of 5

My niece from Nebraska, my daughter from

Seattle, and I (from Cottage Grove, OR) met at the Irvington House for one night. What a magical experience! We walked to Verdigris and had the best French food with the most wonderful waitstaff. Stopped by Whole Foods on the walk home for our breakfast supplies. The Irvington House provided all the comforts of a warm, inviting, spacious 3 bedroom home as I smiled through the re-introduction of 2

cousins newly bonding as adults. I was awakened the next morning to my niece

cooking and exclaiming "this kitchen has

everything, even an espresso machine." My Seattle daughter wants to meet here again soon even though she has all of Capitol Hill delights at her doorstep. I loved

all of it and will highly recommend Irvington

House to my friends!

Excellent stay, hope to come back again.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is well amended, charming, spacious with a great layout (kitchen and dining table in the same room, and open to the family room).

Really appreciated the fact that there were books and toys for our 2 and 4 yo.

Easy, easy access to bus line to downtown as well as being close (10 min walk) to grocery store.

Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay at this 3 bedroom apartment. It is conveniently on a bus route and within walking distance of Broadway Street and the Lloyd Center. Comfortable beds, great furniture and a very nice kitchen. Great neighborhood for walks. Baby gates and pack n play were in the apartment and came in handy with the kids.
