Our vacation apartment is located in the very popular Garden district in the heart of Cape Town. A lot of restaurants and stores can be reached within a few minutes walk. The apartment is comfortably furnished for two people and is located in a well-kept art deco house on Queen Victoria Street. There is an elevator present. In addition to a fully furnished kitchen, there is also a bathroom with a shower, bathtub and washing machine. There is a living/dining area, as well as a bedroom with an enclosed balcony. The apartment has an open balcony with a stunning view of the park (Company Gardens), the South African museum, the art gallery and Table Mountain. Numerous shopping facilities can be reached within a few minute walk.
The location was perfect; right next to the S. African museum bus stop.
The unit was a large one bedroom apartment and included a washer/drier and stove that looked brand new (and also more than I could afford back home). Everything was supplied for both the kitchen and bathroom.
Would definitely stay there again if the unit was open (it looks like booked solid for summer).
The apartment is light and airy with a beautiful view of Table Mountain. It is across from the Company Gardens and there is a balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while the sun sets. It is also a very well equipped apartment with a homey feel.

Mount Nelson hotel within easy walk - a must for lunch. Arnolds in Upper Kloof very good for game food. Get a card for the My Citi buses now going to more and more places around CT. Good sea pool at Sea Point.
This apartment totally fulfilled all our expectations. It is so central that for the first couple of days we did not rent a car, but simply explored the city on foot.
The equipment and supplies were topnotch, with a plentiful supply of towels and linen. Lots of little touches which made it feel like home from home, such as sellotape and scissors for wrapping gifts (though we had actually brought our own!).
During our two week stay the apartment was serviced and we would come home to a sparkling clean place.
Water pressure was great and lots of hot water always.
There are plenty of restaurants around in Kloof and Long Streets. On a sunny day the tearoom in the Gardens opposite makes a very pleasant place for lunch. The hotel next door is OK for lunch, but avoid for dinner - overpriced and very poor quality food.
For everyday supplies the Spar in Kloof Street, walking distance away, is well stocked and does a good range of takeaways - and sells stamps too!
We rented a car from a firm in Bloem Street - a five minute walk away off Long Street - and parked overnight in the street outside without any problems, or else in the garage of the hotel on the corner if we wanted a late lie-in (the parking marshals start work at 8 am).
Having stayed in self-catering holiday accommodation around the world over the past 50 years, this must rate among the top ten per cent for location, cleanliness and equipment.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Ferienenwohnung. Lage, Sauberkeit und Aufteilung der Räume, sowie die beiden Balkone, da blieben keine Wünsche offen.
Jederzeit können wir diese Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen.
Our vacation apartment in Cape Town Gardens is located near the city center in a very good residential complex, about a 5 minute walk from St. Georges Mall (pedestrian zone) and Adderley Street where shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes, banks, etc. are located. All attractions and beaches can be reached quickly with a car or public transportation due to the central location of the apartment.
