About The Management Company

I am the Property Mgr. and I am originally from Philadelphia (The City of Brotherly Love). I have thoroughly enjoyed living in Washington, DC for over 25 years and plan on retiring here. I continue to enjoy the tourist sites and the many interesting and historic places that Washington DC and nearby Virginia and Maryland have to offer. I love bumping into famous people here like Senators on Capitol Hill and even see the President's and Vice President's motorcade racing through the city. Since this property is conveniently located near the METRO, it truly simplifies travel to the numerous sites. For example, the White House, The Smithsonian Museum, The Kennedy Center, The Spy Museum, Mount Vernon and countless other places. My desire is that my guests will experience the joy that I have experienced, while staying in a very comfortable home. My desire is to provide an immaculate home with fine accessories at an affordable price. My ultimate goal is that my guest will consider staying in my home each and every time their visit brings them to the Capital City. Therefore, I warmly welcome the opportunity to receive honest feedback, via e-mailf from every single guest that enter my home. Of course I encourage your reviews also.

My 20 plus years living in Washington DC has provided me the opportunity to provide a comfortable home in a convenient location at a reasonable price.

  • 5 of 5

Very nice neighborhood, $10-$15 Uber rides to the National Mall, Smithsonians, ect. King Bed down stairs, bunks and a Queen upstairs. Back yard area. Grocery store in walking distance. If you stay here walk over to RedRocks for Pizza. It's the bomb.

Entry a real hassle and mouse problem

  • 1 of 5

We stayed several nights in September, 2017 and were extremely disappointed with the entry procedure since it DID NOT concur with the description of the entry. The description specifically said that the keys would be left in the "black mailbox behind the concrete wall across from the orange door" The door in the picture is orange. The door has since been painted black so this added to the confusion. There were no keys there. Tried to call the maintenance man but he would not answer so texted him and he told us the keys were in the lock box attached to the metal fence which he gave us the code to. We were also told in the description that if we purchased a visitor's parking pass that it would be left in the mailbox as well. Had to text the maintenance man again to ask about that and he asked what my license plate number was. After waiting about 45 minutes, I texted him again and he texted me that the VPP was outside our door. Seems like he could have at least knocked on the door to let us know!! The first night we were their, we were sitting at the table in the kitchen and a mouse ran in front of the stove from one side to the other, then went behind the refrigerator. I was the only one that noticed it. I told my wife but did not tell the other couple that was staying with us because of her extreme fear of mice. She would not have stayed there if she knew. The one good thing I can say is that the beds were very comfortable. Overall, we would not recommend this apartment or ever stay there again.

Owner's Response: This is an incredible beautiful, quaint home built in the 1903 and has been able to maintain what makes this home, so cozy and comfortable. There are no rats issues in this home ,this is a great place to stay. Please read the reviews and they speak for themselves. We take care of our guests. This is one of 23 listings and our major concern is that you get a good night sleep and tour our great city of Washington DC

Great location. 1 block from target, grocery, and lots of restaurants. Convenient to the District. Plenty of Uber drivers in the area. Never had to wait.

It is a great place if all you want to do there is sleep. Kitchen perfect for preparing breakfast and sandwiches. There is no real place to sit and relax in a chair, other than around the table in the small kitchen. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

comfy and cozy

  • 5 of 5

Great location, clean, and responsive to inquiries. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Never did figure out the TV but two days completely oblivious to what was going on was total heaven! Will rent again.

Great old apartment, perfect location.

  • 4 of 5

This apartment was clean, inviting and had plenty of room. Fully stocked kitchen. The location was PERFECT! I've given this 4 stars because of the confusion of the pass-codes/lockboxes and entry instructions. It all worked out fine, but frustrating to start our weekend. Also, there are so many signs about being quiet I felt very self-conscious about communicating at a normal volume.

Overall it was a great place and we would stay again.
