About The Owner

Based in Ohio, we have operated a seasonal rental business for 20 years. We love our home in San Pedro and will be on site from November 1st - May16th. We employ the best property manager and staff San Pedro has to offer. We enjoy meeting new people and look forward to you staying with us.

The Owner purchased this bungalow in 2011

Why The Owner chose Ambergris Caye

We have vacationed in several Caribbean locations, but immediately fell in love with Ambergris Caye. Everything is within walking distance and you will not find friendlier people. The pristine water and the white sandy beaches are amazing!

What makes this bungalow unique

The best benefit of staying in this gorgeous and convenient condo is it is less expensive than a hotel room with all the benefits of a home. When you leave you will feel like you have just left your new home away from home.

Great Time in 3C

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a nine night stay. We had a great time. Yvette is very accommodating - picking you up and delivering you to your next place of travel, recommending tour operators and restaurants. Angela keeps the place very clean. We wish we would have visited with her sooner to learn about the tour her son offers (fishing, lunch & snorkeling). Bill and Connee are gracious hosts. The property is just a few minute walk from about anything you'd want to see or do.

Highly Recommended

We had a great week in this small studio which included everything we needed. Yvette was awesome and owners were very friendly. Place was clean and great access to beach and stores if needed. We walked everywhere, did not need bikes or golfcart but will definitely want to explore more when we come back.

Great property and location is close to everything. We stayed at the Belizean Reef for 9 days. It has everything you need! Property owners, property manager and housekeeping were all very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to all of you for your hospitality. We definitely recommend this cute casita!

Good value

  • 4 of 5

Great communication. Picked up with gracious ease. The place is a bit small but there is a lot of storage space. Housekeeping was minimal. The bed was a full size mushy mattress. Cheap bedsheets were not comfortable. Well worth the price for a no view room.

Superb location. Warm and friendly owners and staff!!

  • 5 of 5

Staying at Bill and Connee's place was the right move to make! We had everything we needed and it was easy to walk to pretty much everywhere. Golf carts are the popular way to travel and are easily rented around the corner.

Right away we felt well taken care of. Bill and Connee took us around San Pedro to there favorite bars and local places. They really went above and beyond the whole week for us. Yvette and Angela were extremely helpful as well!

We highly recommend renting at the Belizean Reef. Looking forward to coming back.

Warm regards,

Shaya and Carson

Wonderful Stay

  • 4 of 5

We stayed 8 days in the boutique condo and had a fabulous time. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of closet and drawer space for 2. Shower is big with plenty of hot water and pressure. It wasn't hot when we were there so we were able to open all the windows and enjoy the breeze at night. It was perfect for the 2 of us.

The owners Bill and Connie, property manager Yvette and cleaning staff, Angela were amazing. It was our first time in Belize so it was nice having a reliable resource to help us grocery shop, get beer, get the best food in town (at the best prices) and what to see while we were there. Yvette picked us up from the water taxi and also brought us there when it was time to go home. The property is very low key, quiet and the people are amazing, what more could you want? Our favorite part was the roof top balcony. I would do yoga up there every morning and every evening before called it a night, we'd sit up there and have a beer over looking the ocean. No one was ever up there but there were 2 lounge chairs and a beautiful view, that was all we needed.

The property is just on the edge of town so it was close to everything. We walked a lot but it wasn't too much. There are good restaurants, a grocery story and places that take you on excursions very close to the property. Right down the beach, on a pier, is Hurricanes. This was our favorite spot. Best ceviche AND the owner (Daniel) does tours and took us fishing and snorkeling. Wonderful people, wonderful time.

If I had to have a complaint it would be the barking schnauzer next door and the proximity to the air port. It appeared they left the dog outside in the fenced yard all night long so if anyone walked through the alley it would start barking, sometimes early. The airport is a block away from the property so around 7 am the planes start coming in. While we were able to have the windows open most of the night, we would close them, turn on the fan or air and that seemed to drown out the noise. I"m sharing because that is what we experienced but I"m not sure if the dog lives there all year round. Again, if you close windows and have the fan on, you can sleep comfortably. We would definitely stay here again despite what we experienced. It was an annoyance but didn't ruin our stay by any means. We definitely recommend staying at this place.
