Beautiful farmhouse on 80 acres overlooking Big Green Lake. The home was completely remodeled in late 2010 to create a charming retreat. Out your back door, you are treated to 40 acres of private, rolling prairie connected to another 40 acres of woodlands. Hike in the summer or cross country ski in the winter. You have the property all to yourself.
Two spring-fed streams run through the property and in 2013, a two-acre pond was added. The deer, turkey and fox love them!
Features a stocked, two acre, catch-and-release fish pond and mile+ hiking trail. Teach your grandkids to fish!
Just down the hill and across the street, is a private dock on Big Green Lake that belongs to the property owners. The dock is a perfect place to launch your canoe, kayak or rowboat (the water is deep enough for an outboard engine).

Everything was wonderful over the weekend! We had a great time and it's a beautiful house and property. Thank you for everything!
From the moment we pulled up the drive, we were enchanted: the prairie rolls away, inviting an exploration of flowers and fields, while the cozy patio, outfitted with Adirondack chairs, welcomes reading, relaxing, chats with friends. The home is quite spacious - we were 2 families, each a couple with one 3 year old (ish) kid, and it was definitely plenty of room for us. The kitchen is huge, and we were happy to make use of it and the outdoor grill: dinner of steaks with farm fresh salads, eggs and bacon for breakfast, even a fresh apple pie.......
Wandering the fields we discovered grapevines laden with ripe concord grapes and plenty of flowering herbs, trees and grasses. A hawk circled overhead, and at sunset, 2 herons flew above, garbling together. The pond, just a short walk away, has frogs, and we found evidence of snakes too. One morning we woke to a fog blanketing the hills, the leaves just beginning to turn a rainbow of fall colors.
The home is well located, easy to get to and accessible to lots of amenities. There are plenty of great grocery stores nearby, including one in Ripon that has a super range of produce, specialty foods, beer and wine. We didn't explore the town of Green Lake at all, but did jaunt in to Oshkosh for some great museums, and Ripon for a vintage car show (and local brewery). We packed a LOT in to our short stay and hope to come back again!
Loved It! Beautiful meadow views, updated contemporary farm house with all the amenities!
Our family of five adults enjoyed this charming renovated cottage sitting on 25 acres of land, complete with a catch and release fishing pond. We saw deer everyday and a turkey and grouse. It was so relaxing! The property is located on County Road A across from Green Lake. We were able to launch our boat a couple of minutes down the road at Sunset Park. It was truly a great vacation!
the farm house as we called it was most enjoyable...clean inside, new furnishings (wayfair) throughout...plenty of sleeping quarters for 4 adults...I enjoyed the upstairs penthouse very much...the only knocks I have are these...the outside decks need attention as do the gutters and the trail to the pond should be mowed more frequently. The only other item is the street noise which starts pretty early with fisherman and some big trucks.
This is a beautiful property. The scenery was breathtaking. There were deer hanging out in the field at all times during the day! As far as the house itself, it was better than I expected. The interior is dialed in perfectly and we had everything and more than we needed.
Great location
