Presently living in the Pacific Northwest, my wife and I have enjoyed over 35 glorious years of marriage, treasuring the experiences we've shared together. As parents to three wonderful children, we are now enjoying the benefits of being grandparents! When it comes to vacations and getaways, we both love to travel and enjoy seeking out new and exciting places.

We both have a love for the desert southwest, particularly the breathtaking red sand sculptures and amazing rock formations found in southern Utah!
So as to enjoy more frequent visits to this beautiful area we decided to build back in 2010. Our decision on the exact location was based on the fact that we are within walking distance to a desert oasis ( Sand Hollow Reservoir ), beautiful red sand dunes for ATVing and/or biking and reside within Sand Hollow Resort, which includes year-round golf! The home and location provides a 'get-away' from the Pacific Northwest's long, wet and cold winters but also for others to enjoy and experience God's gift of nature! Once you visit the "Chaco Retreat" we are sure you will understand why we made this choice.
We enjoyed our stay in Sand Hollow very much. The home amenities met all of our needs. We spent a lot of time walking/exploring the trails around the valley. We wished we had brought our bikes. You might consider having a couple of bikes available for guests use and the latest copy of the St George trail map. We never really saw Sarah during our stay. We knew she would be available when or if we needed her.
Thank You for sharing your home with us.
The roof deck was incredible, the views are spectacular. The community was a great place to walk. I used the workout room each day and it was just OK. What we were looking for was great views, clean and quiet...these goals were certainly met. We were disappointed the fireplace was taped off and really did not like buying insurance for our stay (required or cash deposit) but it was a great place and was worth the minor issues.
This house served our every need ! It was beautiful, clean and so comfortable ! This was a girls hiking trip to Zion. This house was the perfect location for not only Zion but also for so many other things to do. We enjoyed it so much and will most definitely stay here again the next time we visit the area !
This is a wonderful house that is well stocked and in a great spot. We were a large group staying in several houses and everyone loved this one. Rooftop deck was a nice spot for coffee in the AM and wine in the evening. Less than 2 minutes to the golf course was a big plus. Have done a trip like this now for 18 years (in different locations) and the owner and the property manager here were the best. Great to work with and made our trip easier.
Chose this house, because of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Great location for St George and Zion NP, plus views from the the backyard were fantastic. House was clean, well appointed and had a grill that we used several times. Would highly recommend.
The property is in an ideal location for sightseeing, we enjoyed Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks during our 10 day stay here. We also enjoyed many hours at Sand Hollow State Park paddle boarding! I must say with all this beauty in the area, one of the things we enjoyed most was the rooftop patio, it was ideal for morning coffee and watching the sunset then the stars in the evening. Very clean, very nice, Sarah was great to work with! Will definitely return!
A beautiful and spacious home with lots to do and see near by. The rooftop deck was our hang out spot every night to watch the sun go down and the stars emerge.
