Brand new redo of a classic building on King George with a brand new elevator just installed. Towering 11 foot ceilings, extra tall French doors drenching your living room with morning light...all new electric, kitchen, bathroom, A/C...
Inviting curving stairs lead you to a mezzanine floor with full standing room next to a latex US Queen sized bed, with a closet upstairs too! Full sized bathroom with large stand up shower. Complete kosher kitchen for only $20 extra. Stunning balcony seating over King George and the midrechov.
The perfect downtown location. Instead of traveling to a restaurant, you walk downstairs and have Jerusalem's best kosher restaurants right at your feet! Easy walk to the kotel on Shabbat. Machane Yehuda is just 6 minutes away.

We are an American Orthodox family living in Jerusalem over twenty years. Our goal in life is to be good. We love the opportunity of helping people visit the Holy City and enjoy life here to the fullest in a kosher and comfortable way.
The Owner purchased this studio in 2010
We thought that downtown was not utilized enough for vacation rentals. It's an amazing experience living downtown. Shopping for gourmet food in the open-air market, cooking dinner and enjoying it outside on your balcony, watching the life of happy people in the midrechov, davening in the historic traditional shuls of Rand and Broide...and visiting the Holy Western Wall...what a life to offer people!
Downtown is alive with youth, excitement, opportunities...meeting friends and being happy...
And this apartment offers life to the fullest: a huge 12 foot salon, a fun bed upstairs looking over the salon, great kitchen & bathroom, and the neatest built-in seating for four looking over the world below!
I enjoyed a wonderful 2-week stay in this studio, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the charming pedestrian walkway Ben Yehuda and its cross streets. It's less than 5 minutes' walk to the marvelous Machane Yehuda market. The apartment is two flights up, but there is a small elevator for bringing luggage in and out.
Eliana's description and photos are accurate. The one place I would differ is on full-service kitchen. I did cook there, but only very simple things. There is a microwave and a single hot plate for cooking.
Eliana was there to meet me when I arrived, and was very responsive late that night when I had a maintenance problem.
The apartment is charming and cozy. Morning sun keeps it warm on winter days, and the balcony is nice in good weather. The loft bed is a creative use of space, and I had no trouble standing up in the loft area. However, I am only 5'3"; a person much taller would need to stoop while up there.
The door into the building is tucked between two small eating places, an Aroma and a bakery. Aroma's outdoor tables extend in front of the door, so my first couple of outings I had to search for my entrance. Note that this section of King George is limited to buses and taxis, and there is no place directly in front of the building for taxis to stop, so I had to get out across the street. There is a crosswalk with signal, so getting across is easy.
The apartment has plenty of closet space with hangers, and adequate storage for all my belongings. The heat worked well, and the hot water was quick in the shower every morning. The bed was comfortable, and nights were quiet. I did not hear other residents. It was very helpful to have a washer and dryer handy in the adjacent hall. They were easy to use, and detergent was available.
I can definitely recommend this studio for a single or couple. It would be tight quarters for more than that.
We visited Jersualem and surrounding areas for a week in November. The location of the studio is absolutely fantastic. Everything is compact and these are not huge spaces but they are amazingly laid out and every inch of the apartment is functional space. The beds were comfortable and there is storage space for luggage and to hang clothes. The kitchenette is equipped with a single burner hot plate, microwave and sufficient equipment for cooking up quick easy meals. Our days were very long so dinner was something simple, or we would take advantage of the discounts at the delicious bakery located next door after 7 pm. Right across the street is the Ben Yehuda street mall and you can find everything there. A walk to the old City took 10 minutes and you are also located within a block of the light rail. The Israel Museum is also within walking distance. One thing I do want to advise is make sure you tell the taxi driver to put the meter on. It is the law and they will try and take advantage of tourists. Eliana is lovely and will give you the skinny on everything. The washer and dryer was really convenient after travelling for 2 weeks. Clean clothes were wonderful!
We had a fabulous trip to Jerusalem and staying here was a big part of the success of our trip. The location is perfect. The market is close by, shopping and eating right outside your door and Jaffa Gate to The Old City is 15 minutes by walking.
The apt is well equipped and very comfortable. The balcony was great to sit out and enjoy the people on the street.
We loved the fact that we were in a neighborhood rather than a hotel with all the tourists.
We would love to return someday and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
I couldn't be happier with my stay at the KG Studios. First, the location is AMAZING--and location is everything!! We walked everywhere (and I generally hate walking ;) We walked to machane yehudah, mamilla mall, geulah, ben yehudah...Right downstairs there are restaurants, shops, banks, cafes, etc. Please do not rent a car! We did and it was a total waste of money---we paid for it to sit in a garage. Eliana takes very good care of the studios and the studios are fully stocked- towels, sheets, soap, utensils, electric kettle, etc. She is very communicative and goes out of her way to ensure that her guests are comfortable and happy. I couldn't be happier with my stay and will definitely return! Thank you, Eliana, for such a wonderful experience!
We are family with two kids who spent one week in Eliana's apartment.
For very decent money we received not big but intelligently planned, clean, nice, quite and very conveniently located apartment. Everything what is needed is included: kitchen, washing and drying machines etc. Wifi works well.
We were second time in Jerusalem and beleive that location is a strong side: apartment just in the middle of shops, fast food and restaurants. Machane Yehuda market is close. Old town is less then 10 minutes by walk.
And special thanks to Eliana. She's was so sincere, kind and helpful that were truly touched by her attitude towards us.

We are staying at the King George Apartments for two months. What a blessing! From the spacious loft apartment to the perch from the balcony over the center of Jerusalem. It's unbelievably quiet! Eliana takes care of everything: from a warm and scrumptious welcome to helpful suggestions about where to go, what to see, what to experience, and where to find. The apartments are spacious. The queen size bed is extremely comfortable. If children are joining you, there's plenty of space for two additional people. Just minutes from the shuk (market place) where the luscious vegetables and fruits, fresh fish and meats are bargains to be found. The kitchen is well outfitted for intimate cooking. It saves! And if it's restaurants you want, there's everything from schwarma to gourmet pasta and meat within a few minute's walk. It's also walking distance to the Old City, the Wailing Wall, and the vistas of Jerusalem. Two months and we can't wait to return. This was a very special experience! Thanks, Eliana!
Old City and Kotel just twenty minutes' walk. You'll be smack downtown looking over all the fun. Hundreds of people meeting, laughing, taking each others' pictures, in the big community midrechov every day and every night. Incredible Machane Yehuda market 5 minutes' walk.
