Perfect place for a family of 6 adults to stay and ski
This place was great! Plenty of beds, easy to check in and easy to check out. We had every kitchen item we needed and plenty of towels! Easy to get to town and to the slopes.
I'm very glad that you and your family had a wonderful time. We try to insure that our home is stocked with everything and and then a little bit more of everything that you might need while on vacation. You are welcome back anytime.
Truly Enjoyed Our Ski Trip and Staying In This Home.
We could not have asked for better weather or a better place for the 8 of us to stay. Both the owner and his property manager went above and beyond anything that we expected. I had called the owner earlier to ask if the home had a crock pot to cook in. When we got there, the crock pot was sitting out on the counter waiting for us. Also, we arrived very late at about 11:30 at night. All the lights were own and the cabin was warm and toasty. I can not say enough about staying in this home. It had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. All the pots and pan, dishes, and plenty of towels for all of us. It even had small sleds that we could use on the hills on the golf course that was only 50 feet behind the cabin. We will always stay here when we ski Wolf Creek.
Amazing place to stay!
My group and I had a great experience while staying at this cabin! Perfect little get way house and the owners are amazing also. Would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful accommodations for party of 10
My wife and I and 7 boys and 1 girl stayed for a week here for a week of skiing at Wolf Creek. The house was very beautiful and supplied everything needed (towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, laundry supplies). The house accommodated all of us easily. The owner was very friendly to work with when making reservations. The only negative is you are charged for trash removal for left behind trash. Trash pickup if Wednesday, so unless you plan to take your trash from Wednesday on with you (which I'm not sure what you would do with it), you need to plan on an extra charge for this. Another thing worth noting is that the Master bedroom shares the bathroom with the upstairs bedroom. Again, this was workable for our family, but worth noting. This was by no means a deal breaker for us, but it should be noted. We would recommend this cabin and stay here again.
Wonderful cabin! Great for 3 families!
I only gave it 4 stars because there was not a hot tub :) or a cabin manual :) We took our family of 6, my brothers family of 3, and my friends family of 3. We all fit perfectly, and there was plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals! There were plenty of board games to pick from! The two youngest loved the loft area for their own space! The "boys room" as we called it was perfect for our teenage boys to get away :) they had 5 beds, and could get away from all of us :) it was like their own cabin! We travel to Wolf Creek every year for snowboarding and skiing and this cabin is on the top of our list!!!! Thank you Tommy and Jerry for being so helpful and always available to us :)
Great place, comfortable, exactly as described
We rented this home for a guy's annual ski trip to Wolf Creek ski resort. There were six of us ages early 50's to early 60's. After years of traveling with these ski buddies, I have become the default accommodations coordinator, a role that I take seriously and go above and beyond to make sure I know exactly what we are getting.
The place was extremely welcoming from the moment we stepped inside with the thermostat-controlled gas fireplace cranking away. The home is BETTER than pictured and described and there were absolutely NO surprises whatsoever. The place is tastefully decorated, even better than shown in the pictures. The kitchen contained everything we needed to prepare our home cooked meals ... from pots, pans, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils ... to beer and wine bottle openers! (Don't buy coffee filters! We left you plenty!)
I was concerned that the beds in the dorm room over the garage might be cots .. but NO ... they are EXTREMELY comfortable full mattresses with box springs. The temperature in all of the rooms was easy to keep at a perfect temperature.
Although there are ski-holders on the wall in the entryway, we opted to leave our gear in the garage each night so that we didn't have to worry about snow melt getting on the floor.
Tommy, the owner, was a pleasure to work with, as was his local representative. The payment and key process was easy. We had no problems whatsoever and will absolutely rent this home again.
I am so glad that you enjoyed staying in my home for your "guy's ski trip." I do work hard to make sure that everything on my end is exactly as described so that there will be no surprises on your arrival. I have to say that for 9 guys staying there the house was extremely clean, thank you for taking such good care of my home. You and your friends are welcome back anytime.
