I am french, a mother of 3 and happily married with an Australian man.
The only problem is that I am not living in my beloved Paris anymore.
In 2010, we were very happy to get this apartment in the heart of Paris. We were even luckier that the apartment didn't need ant major renovations to be done as the previous owners had done an amazing job.
The design of the apartment and its location are amazing. i pinch myself often to make sure I am not dreaming!
Ghislaine Bouskila purchased this apartment in 2010
It is perfect for my family of 5 and if you are going to be in Paris for a limited amount of time you amy as well be in the most fun and practical place. I love being right in the historical centre of Paris where i can access museums, restaurants and fashion shops just by foot and the jardin du Luxembourg, where my mother use to take me as a child is also right next door!
The clever design of the architect and the interior designer make us feel that the apartment is a lot bigger than what it is.
The rooms are big. The main bedroom has an ensuite and a separate toilet.
Then the second room also has bathroom and a separate toilet. Its like having 4 bathrooms!
The apartment is so light!
Another beauty is Joseph, our property manager who is so professional. The apartment is being kept impeccable at all times and he is always available for any questions or need one may have!
We had a great stay in your apartment. Our first time renting an apartment vs a hotel room and well worth it.
Thank you for providing great accommodation and service during our stay.
We have stayed at almost evry hotels in the Latin quarter - for the last 7 years. Very small rooms from 8 sqm - to 15 sqm. But not any longer. Since we found this apartment - in the very heart of the Latin quarter area - we will not change any more. Perfect - is the best description for this apartment. And yes - we have already booked this apartment for the same periode in 2016,2017,2018........
For the brave Norwgian Vikings
We had a wonderful time in Paris and felt the apartment was very comfortable. We received a warm and informative greeting from Joseph, the property manager, who made us feel right at home! The location is central with easy walkability to Notre Dame and other city highlights. The interior of the apartment was clean, well-appointed and quite comfortable. Thank you Ghislaine and Joseph for a lovely stay!
Great location, busy area but quiet. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Had one minor issue with phones and the property manager was extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend and use again!
We stayed for (unfortunately only 3 nights) at this great place with our two adult kids. The apartment works well for 4 people - and the 2nd bedroom can be setup for a couple or 2 separate beds. What actually is under advertised in the listing is that there are 2 FULL baths in the unit. The location is perfect - it is in a very lively (with tourists) area with lots of restaurants and shops right outside the front door - it is also very central to all the sights - about 100 m to the Seine, 200 m to Notre Dame, very close to Park de Luxemburg, 100 m to Metro and RER to airport. Unit is on 4th floor (5th in US) - elevator is small for max 3 people - but no problem - we made it a competition to not use the elevator and take the opportunity for a little exercise instead.
Great place - will come back.
This apartment is a special gem in the heart of the Latin Quarter, spacious and accommodating for my family of five, and conveniently located to the Metro, eateries, shopping, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the River Seine. We were greeted by the friendly and helpful Joseph, who gave us all the information about the apartment and its amenities, including a very descriptive notebook containing everything one would need to know about the internet service, TV, telephone, washing machine, etc. This was very helpful. There is a market directly across the street and a patisserie 3 or 4 shops away at the corner for coffee and croissants, not to mention cafes and restaurants everywhere along the narrow cobblestone streets of this enchanting district. One surprise we came upon, not far at all from the apartment, was the Eglise Saint Severin, one of the oldest churches still standing on the Left Bank, built in the late Gothic style. The boulevards St. Michel and St. Germain intersect one or two blocks away where there are always taxis available if one does not want to use the Metro. Also, the apartment is surprisingly quiet considering the lively streets below, however this is mainly due to the fact that the streets are pedestrian only. There is no air-conditioning and although there were a few nights that were quite warm, the open windows and fans were sufficient. Overall, this apartment was a good value for the size, cleanliness, and comfort it provided my family of five, also having 2 bathrooms and 2 water closets was definitely a bonus. Nicely decorated too! We had a wonderful time in Paris and would stay at this apartment again.
The property manager, Joseph, was very professional and provided us with good information about the apartment and area. The apartment was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The welcome basket of milk, juice, wine, and jams was much appreciated.
We would recommend the property for two couples or a family with its two bathrooms and separation of bedrooms.
