|Minimum Stay||2 - 7 nights|
Our heritage cottage, 6 Lily Lane, has been renovated to modern standards. Settled on a private one-acre point with morning sunrises to start your day and evening sunsets that will take your breath away. The cottage point overlooks low bank tidal pools that you can explore on all day on one side, and a private sand pebble beach for swimming and building sand castles on the other side. We are two cottages away from East Point Park, where the orcas travel on a regular basis. Sit down on the sandstone rocks and wait for their arrival. You will be so close you could reach out and touch one, but we advise you use your camera instead! Watch the sea lions, seals and, dolphins frolic in the ocean as you relax on the front lawn. Be amazed by the bald eagles diving for their dinner, and be prepared to be startled by a deer nibbling the tree outside the living room window. Your stay also gives you access to 44 acres of private hiking trails for your dog to enjoy off leash walks. The cottage is fully equipped with linens, towels, full kitchen, and an outdoor propane barbeque. The road to our retreat is well paved and great for biking. Bring your boat, kayak, sailboat, or canoe and launch it at our private boat ramp.

My husband and I were looking for a place where we could observe wildlife, specifically whales and this place looked like it would fit the bill. We live in the Midwest so it was a bit of a trek but very well worth it.
The home was cozy and more than met our needs. We spent a lot of our time at East Point Park right near the cabin hoping to see a whale but the closest we got was seeing a blow hole and a tale but even that was a thrill. We saw cute little sea lions everyday, several deer, and even some feral goats that ran out in front of us when we were hiking one day.
We were there in October so the weather was not the greatest. It was in the 50's and we had at least a little rain every day but that didn't take away from the beauty of this place.
Jo went above and beyond and was always available to answer any questions that I had no matter how ridiculous. We had to take 3 planes and 1 ferry ride to get to the cottage and it was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
A good day is when I see more deer then people. On the drive to Lily Lane I saw 20 deer after twilight. An ideal place at this time of year to live out the life of a reclusive individual. Very quiet & remote the silence of the beauty surrounds you. Love to have stayed longer...I will definitely return.
Tucked away on a private point, this cozy cottage has fabulous views! RIght at the water's edge, there are glorious sunsets down the channel to the left, and a white shell beach to the right, great for a swim. East Point and the light house are just steps away. The whales swam by Wednesday morning! We loved the cottage. It is cute, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We felt immediately at home. We dined on the porch in the evening, and had great sleeps in the comfy bed. We'd have coffee and a fire in the fireplace in the morning, tucked into one of the window seats, enjoying the abundant wildlife. JO was very friendly, responsive and informative. HIghly recommended! We didn't want to leave. And we will definitely be back.

Paradise......we love the location...waterfront....private. Comfortable cabin!
We Keep coming back every year...26 years for us this year!
This property was a much needed escape from the everyday. Very private. Well equipped. Easy access to the water and to the East Point of Saturna. It was the perfect location from which to encounter wildlife, particularly the orcas. The owner was extremely approachable, and answered any questions we had almost immediately. We would most certainly return to this property.
Thank you Jo for sharing this beautiful spot! We didn't see any whales but we did see: sea lions, seals, eagles, nesting swallows, cicadas (just hatched), friendly deer and shiny jumping fish aplenty.
We couldn't get enough of East Point and will be back for sure! The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was absolutely perfect. Thanks again.
Saturna Island is the Southernmost of the Gulf Islands. Its small population and remote location make it ideal for vacationers looking for a real get-away from the daily grind.
Much of Saturna falls within the Parks Canada Gulf Islands National Park Reserve and provides hiking, whale watching, biking and other opportunities to re-connect with the spectacular nature of the Gulf Islands.
