I'm from a northeast skiing family. My parents met through a ski club my Dad was president of, and started me on skis at the age of 3 at Whiteface, a NY Adirondack mountain that hosted the 1980 Olympic Alpine events. This great mountain, with its 3,200 vertical drop, is where I learned to ski every type of condition, in all forms of extreme weather. After college I got into exploring new ski areas, and started tallying all the ones I had been to. According to my Excel list I've been to 126 ski areas so far. I have been to most major resorts throughout North America, and have started ticking off some of the more exotic ones on my bucket list in South America, New Zealand and Europe. I still enjoy the small family run operations too. For me, its just about being outside gliding down a mountain. I don't need fancy resort infrastructure and perfect groomers to have fun. That is the beauty of starting the sport in the era I did. With all that said, my wife and I were looking for a place out West that we could take our kids to, and spend some retirement time at. I had been to all the big name mountains prior to my first visit to Big Sky which we instantly fell in love with. The mountain had every type of terrain: from the double black diamonds I enjoy now, to the type of terrain I will enjoy in my senior years. The lifts were old salvaged lifts from other ski areas. That was okay. We saw the potential and saw that Boyne was pumping money into the resort, so we bought our place in 1991, and haven't looked back since. With most lifts replaced by high speed detachables, new lodges, and the tram to the top, this area rocks. Throughout the years we've been slowly fixing our Montana home up. In 2013 we replaced the 29 year old hot tub. In 2017 we renovated the kitchen with all new appliances completing our punch list. We have really enjoyed seeing our renters positive comments about their stay, and we will continue this labor of love to make it great for us and them

Can’t wait to come back
We had such an amazing first trip to Montana & the condo was part of that reason! Perfect location - great views- and we had everything we needed- and then some! Brett was kind enough to provide a very detailed email with information from anything from recommended restaurants, things to do in the area and links....& all the info we needed about the condo! Loved every minute!
The condo was exactly as described. It was super clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The views were amazing. There were deer grazing outside as well as a Bald Eagle perched in the trees. The location was perfect.
This condo exceeded our expectations. Loved the open layout and the indoor hot tub! The sun room off the master bedroom was my wife's favorite spot. Perfect straight on shot of Lone Peak. Will definitely be our go to rental for future visits to Big Sky!
Access to Yellowstone an hour away.
Big Sky offered all the amenities you need. Travel back and forth to Yellowstone was a pleasure since the scenery was so beautiful and it only took an hour to get to the west entrance. The condo is very well appointed with all the amenities advertised and the view of lone peak awesome. The only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable is a hose on the shower as one of us has limited mobility and without a hose showering is difficult. Overall Five stars
Perfect place to stay, they have thought of everything
From the packet mailed to us with information, pre-arrival instructions, all dishes and linens provided, clear instructions on how to move about Big Sky and activity and dining recommendations, they truly have thought of everything! Place was clean, lots of games and books, plugged our phones to the stereo USB to have music. It was just a perfect place for a vacation!
Big Sky condo
Very convenient location with shuttle bus outside. Very comfortable condo, and would rebook here again. Recommended.
Ideally located in the Big Sky Mountain Village on the free shuttle loop-a half mile from Big Sky Resort. Just far enough away to give us the most spectacular view of Big Sky and Lake Levinsky from this condo's elevated perch. We're ten minutes from the golf course, and white water rafting & fishing on the Blue Ribbon Gallatin River. Bozeman/Yellowstone Airport are an 1:10h away. Yellowstone Park's West Yellowstone entrance is 50 minutes away. We are just around the corner from the popular Beehive Basin hiking trail. There are many excellent restaurant and bar choices in the Big Sky Mountain Village as well as the Meadow Village and Canyon areas where vehicles are recommended. Renters love how easy it is to come and go from the heated indoor parking garage accessed a few steps away from the elevator; directly across from our front door.
