Skier and pretty pathetic snowboarder! Have spent 35 years in Mammoth, so I have a lot of insider info. I have rented my vacation homes for over 25 years and enjoy helping travelers maximize their experience for the best time ever!
The Owner purchased this condo in 2008
This is an upgraded unit that is sunny, quiet, perfect for small family or couples. Wood floors, granite stone shower, Full kitchen, flat area of town so no icy hills to drive up, located within walking distance of all town amenities
well-behaved Pets are OK, outside parking so large size SUV's are OK, shuttle stop at driveway, ski area less than 2 minutes drive from condo. condo parking lot plowed in the early morning if there is heavy snow.
Comfortable bed, only drawback was a lack of wifi, but not a dealbreaker
I booked this condo as a last minute weekend girls getaway and couldn't have chosen a better place if I had researched it for months. The location of the condo is absolutely perfect, centrally located in town and within walking distance to all major stores, dining and entertainment, as well as having a shuttle bus stop right out front of the complex, very convenient. The condo was extremely clean and the furnishing very comfortable, with plenty of clean linens for use with the pool and spa as well, and I dug having access to on site laundry facilities. But what I was most impressed and thrilled with was the full size fully stocked kitchen making cooking and dining in the way to go. I loved the layout of the condo it provided ample room and privacy and plenty of sleeping options, so much so I forgot we were in a studio as it easily accommodated the three of us with room to spare. I felt so at home and really enjoyed the beautiful decor and the high end appliances it made it hard to leave, I just wanted to stay in and enjoy all the comforts it offered. This condo would also be perfect for a romantic getaway, and I'd highly recommend it for both couples as well as small families. Thank You Pam for allowing me and my friends to stay in your awesome condo, we had such a wonderful time and thanks for all the info you provided on the activities and happenings in and around Mammoth there was so much to do we couldn't fit it all in on the trip, so we will be back! Hopefully before summer ends and for sure this winter I can't wait to ski all day and then come home to relax in this space. Two big thumbs up!
We've stayed at other condos in Mammoth and found our experience at this one to be the best. First of all, it feels off the beaten path but really it's central to town. We found everything about our visit and stay in a word 'convenient'. It's hard to find nice places that are truly comfortable, who allow pets. This was PERFECT for the two of us and our dog. This was also the quietest stay we've ever had in Mammoth. Felt like we lived there. Met some locals. Everyone was friendly including the property owners who made sure it was a simple process for us to check in and out. Because we can only drive at night to come to Mammoth, their late night organization was really appreciated. So...THANK YOU, and we will be back!
We did a last minute booking. They were quick to respond and very accommodating. There was 2 of us plus our two dogs. We thought it was going to be tiny with all the review comments. We were surprised on how clean and comfortable it was.
The reason the place did not seem so small was the layout is done very well. The place has updated kitchen and bath. It is very well kept and extremely clean which makes you feel comfortable and at home.
The jacuzzi and trash are very close. The condo is located in town and it is an easy walk to food and shopping.
Very dog friendly complex and everyone is very conscious of picking up after their animals. We were also surprised on how quite it was. We were on the first floor and could not hear the guests above who had children and pets with them.
We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your place with us.
This is a very comfortable property which is very convenient for everything that Mammoth has to offer. I felt that the quality of the furnishings were very high quality. I also appreciated the convenience! The fireplace was very nice! The bed was comfortable! The kitchen was perfect sized.
Highly recommended! Great value!
My husband and I stayed with our dog at the condo in May of this year. The condo was very comfortable and well equipped. The upgrades done to the unit were beautiful. The place is small as an earlier reviewer said, but it's more than fine if you plan on spending most of your day enjoying all the outdoor activities the Mammoth area has to offer - it might be cramped if you were planing on spending all your time holed up inside. I think you could even comfortably have a small child with you in addition to two adults and a dog, as long as you didn't plan to spend most of your time in the condo.
So here is a summary - the listing is as described, the photos accurately reflect the appearance, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was helpful in answering question. I would recommend the property to others.
