If you are looking for that perfect spot in paradise, look no further. Lcated next to the new Disney Resort, the Ko Olina Beach Villas Resort is the first new beachfront condo resort to be built on Oahu in 25 years. It is located on the sunny, west side of the island and features panoramic oceans views with an opulent vacation experience. Our condo is spacious and elegant. It is designed for those who truly want (and expect) the finest accommodations on the island.
The Ko Olina Beach Villas are located on a one of Oahu's most beautiful beaches on the sunny, west side of the island. This high-end resort is situated on 642 acres of lush, tropical landscaping complete with waterfalls, fountains, ponds and four crystal clear lagoons. The two mile stretch of white sand beach with a walking path is perfect for enjoying the tranquility and beauty of this very special place in paradise. The resort features lagoon-style pools and hot tubs, fitness center/spa and a beach bar. The resort also features several fine dining options within walking distance, an 18-hole Championship Golf Course designed by Ted Robinson, a 43 acre marina, beach bar and even a wedding chapel.
This two bedroom condo is located on the 5th floor with a breathtaking sunset view over the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean. It is appointed with the best of everything. Unwind in the soothing waters of the deep soaking tub. Enjoy a cocktail on your private lanai while enjoying a breathtaking sunset. In the winter, watch the whales breech. Spot the spinner dolphins and turtles at play in the surf. Take advantage of the numerous world-class resort amenities available at Ko Olina Resort and Marina. Or just relax and do nothing while enjoying one of the most spectacular destinations found on all the islands. This condo is perfect for the couple that understands the value of high-end accommodations and wants only the very best.
Gorgeous place. The pictures don't do this place justice. Plenty of space for my wife, two high school teenagers and me. Our family enjoyed our entire 7-night stay at Ko Olina. Whatever you want to do, it's at your disposal in Ko Olina or nearby. Best place we have ever stayed at and we would love to return.
We laid around for a few days swimming early morning laps in the lap pool, lying quietly in late morning/early afternoon by the lap pool/quiet pool, swimming in the busier pool near the bar or hanging out swimming and snorkeling in the ocean lagoon. The lagoons are larger than they look in the pictures. Plenty of space to swim, snorkel, triathlon train or just lie around on the beach. If you want a cold refreshment, the bar is right at the security gate by the ocean and busy pool. Miles of of walking/jogging trails along the ocean and road back toward Ko Olina.
The North Shore was a 35-40 minute drive. Go early in the day after rush hour but well before lunch. Waimea Falls is worth the hike up there and the water is refreshing. Very historic area. Sunset Beach is spacious and the waves weren't as crazy as they are in winter. Lock your doors, leave no valuables visible in your vehicle. Recommend historic Haleiwah for browsing, food options and people watching. We had a huge portioned, tasty supper at the Grass Skirt.
2 recommendations: The 4 of us signed up for first-time-ever surfing lessons through Hawaiian Fire. This was perhaps the highlight of our trip. Friendly service and they pick you up right at the front desk. The lessons went great, all 4 of us were able to enjoy surfing success. Instructors were courteous, professional patient and the ocean views from the location of our lessons were second to none. Second, make time for a shopping trip to Aloha Stadium Marketplace (W, Sat and Sun) for t-shirts and whatever for friends and family back home. Decent t-shirts for 5/$20 and $10-15 for very large beach towels beating expensive Waikiki and overpriced ABC store items.
We cooked or grilled most of our meals (from Kapolei supermarkets) but Monkeypod was a cool place for a family meal plus Pizza Corner and Two Scoops were easy and fast options. Restaurants aplenty around the area resorts and in nearby Kapolei should you so choose.
Waikiki is still beautiful but overcrowded. Ko Olina was perfect for our family and we'd gladly return to this place again. Property manager, facility tour guide, bartenders all courteous and friendly.
Ko Olina villas are a perfect vacation. Our third visit and love it more each time. Condo has everything you need. We especially love the view straight on of the resort and ocean. Many condos look into each other, and so happy we had a birds eye view.
Next year we hope to stay longer, please!!!!
We were recently searching child friendly accommodations in Oahu and stumbled across this incredible condo in Kolina. The beach and pool were absolute perfection. Situated right next to the Disney resort, the condo was beautifully furnished and left nothing to be desired. We can't wait to go back!!
Great vacation spot. Very clean and well equipped . I loved sitting out on the lanai morning or evening it was great. Also there are so many thing to do on property with 3 pools , and in the entire Ko Olina area.
This is a perfect spot to relax with your family. The kids loved the pool and the lagoons were a safe place to snorkel or rent paddle boards. Hot tubs all in perfect working order. The villa was very clean and beautiful. Loved completely opening up the sliding door/wall to the balcony when inside to get a break from the sun or preparing meals. If visiting the nearby water park in on your list, consider getting a season pass and dropping in for a couple of hours at a time. Run next door to get a shave ice at the Aulani and then appreciate the space and relaxed atmosphere back at the beach villas!
WE DID NOT KNOW THAT OAHU HAD ANYTHING SO NICE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN KO OLINA. I THINK THE BEST PART IS THE WEATHER, IT COULD BE RAINING EVERYWHERE ELSE BUT WE HAD SUN.
ALWAYS HAD SOMEWHERE TO WALK, OR SWIM, AND TO EAT.
THANKS, WE WILL BE BACK.
