You will love this luxurious 3-story Beach House located 1/2 block from the white sandy beaches of Oceanside, California. Come enjoy a fabulous view of the Ocean and the Oceanside Pier from the 3rd Floor View Deck. Sleep in one of 3 spacious Bedrooms, each containing King (2) or Queen (1) size beds with luxurious private bathrooms. For extra sleeping find a loft with twin and trundle bed, 1 Queen Size Sleeper Couch and twin size recliner. Cook in the well equipped Kitchen and then dine formally inside in the beautiful dining room or casually outside on private side patio or front deck. Snuggle up with a good book next to one of 3 Gas Fireplaces or watch the 'game' on one of the large flat screen TVs or a movie on HBO, Stars, or a Blue Ray Disk. Within walking distance of the Beach, the Harbor, Restaurants, 16 screen Movie Theater and driving distance from Lego Land, Sea World, Disney Land, and Knotts Berry Farm.

For Larger Groups: The McLarney Beach House will house up to 12 individuals very comfortably but for larger groups (up to 24 individuals) we recommend that you consider a joint rental of the Porter Beach House (property # 240526). These two houses are both part of a 4 house complex and are within feet of each other. Both have very similar floor plans and furnishings. Both house are managed by the same person so one inquiry for either house could include a request for the 2nd House also. Come Visit us Soon because we have now saved you TWO SPOTS on the BEACH.

She also enjoys the surrounding area of Oceanside-it's friendly atmosphere and convenience to many favorite vacation activities-Zoo, Theme Parks, Movie Theater, Casual and Fine Dining and the very best of Sand, Sea, and Surf that California has to offer.

Perfect week at the beach!

This Oceanside house is one of the best houses/ locations in Oceanside! My favorite is the well-stocked garage full of beach gear and toys and then of course the fact that you are steps away from the sand!

The house is spacious, comfy and clean. The owner is very helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely be back next year!

It's a beautiful condo. very roomy, drawback is very noisy train both day and night. Close to beach

Very nice and close to the beach. Very noisy train both day and night. You may want to take some boogie boards because there were only 2 that weren't broken.

Owner's Response: New Boogie Boards have been purchase. To all future guests...we would much rather you call us immediately if something is in disrepair or damaged. Usually we can have things like Boogie Board delivered very quickly. No reason to wait. Let us address your concerns immediately. The Train we can not repair :) The Coaster commuter train travels all along the coast line of California from San Diego to Oceanside and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner travels from Oceanside to Los Angeles. It is the later that passes 1 block behind our Beach House. Everyone that rents or lives by the Beach from San Diego to L. A. will hear some sounds of trains. We as all homes in our area can hear the train. The conductors are required by law to blow the whistles at main intersections. Most people think it is quaint others if they are sensitive to sounds are bothered by it. There are not hourly trains at night but usually there are 2. One runs about 6am and is the most often heard as people are beginning to sleeping lighter or wake up. During the winter months when it is slightly cooler windows can be closed so that less train sound is heard. Summer renters who enjoy an ocean breeze are usually the one that will comment about hearing the train. If you do not want to hear a train then none of the Southern Coast of California will be your favorite beach vacation spots. We personally love it. Our children and grandchildren get excited to see trains as we don't often see those passing where we live. We love that you can take the train and travel in to San Diego for lunch and maybe visit Old Town, Horton Plaza, or Sea Port Village and then return the same day for a very nominal fee. It is a fun outing for those that do not often or have never ridden a train. It must be your decision but most people are not bothered at all by the trains. Note in our reviews how seldom a train in even mentioned although all renter are past daily and nightly by them.

Cozy place with excellent location

The house is just wonderful: it was planned or remodeled with the idea of separation in mind: the ground floor is dedicated to preparing food, dining and watching TV, the complete second floor is occupied by three spacious bedrooms, every having its own bathroom directly connected and a small loft -- an ideal place for children to sleep. The upper floor is here for a nice view to the ocean and pier. We were three families, 6 adults and 4 children in total, and we found the house ideal for us.

It is located just 12 mins from LEGOLAND and just 10 mins walk from the gorgeous pier. We spent days in LEGOLAND with children and evenings on the beach, strolling on the pier and enjoying the sun setting to the ocean -- an unforgettable feeling!

Spacious and Fully Equipped

Open first floor plan leading to a front deck served as the perfect ambience for twelve friends and family members. Each bedroom had its own restroom along with a bonus loft. This house was fully stacked with every need (and want) imaginable. We were able to fit two mini SUVs inside the garage and received a parking permit for our third vehicle. The place was immaculately clean for us when we arrived. We were just a short block away from the beach and a short five minute walk to the pier. We are definitely considering this unit once again for another occasion. All adults and kids loved it!

Very spacious and comfortable.

This property is exactly as described, spacious and comfortable. It's a great place for the entire family to relax, be together and enjoy the ocean and beach! The home is very well maintained and clean. The owner is very helpful and is available and accessible for any questions that might come up during your stay. The restaurant at the end of the pier, Ruby's, is a family favorite each time we are here. The beach is clean and safe. The younger children enjoy looking for sea shells and sand dollar early in the morning when there are very few people on the beach. The Farmer's Market is also always a favorite of ours as you can walk to it from the house. The area is very quiet, great for families to leave their worries behind and enjoy one another!
