thanks so much - Kyle
This house is absolutely beautiful along with the property around it! The sunroom & huge window at the back of the house is 10x better in person! The view cannot be beat, I can't even put into words how beautiful it is! The owner, Mike was so nice & helpful throughout the process. The house was more than spacious enough for all 8 of us. The neighbors are a little closer than we thought they would be & we were worried because the house we stayed at last year was a little more secluded but we had no issues what so ever! We grilled out & enjoyed the deck both nights and did not feel as if we were being too loud for the neighbors. We met people from the houses on both sides & they were so friendly!! Perfect location, perfect house, perfect weekend! We are from Charleston & spend a weekend at Lake Murray every summer...will definitely be staying here again!!
Super clean and comfortable! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing in the sun room we would definitely stay again. Mike was super helpful and respond to any questions quickly😊
We enjoyed our stay very much. We cooked all our meals there we had everything we needed. Very clean . We caught fish off the dock😀.Will definitely stay again and highly recommend it!! Very nice owners.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Awesome house with a great lake view. Owner has been great to work with!
The lake view was beautiful, and the house was set up with the furniture arranged to maximize that view and easy conversational grouping. Unfortunately, a number of other factors detracted significantly from enjoyment of the house. There was no closet in the master bedroom; the closet in another bedroom had only 4 hangars. Owner property was in various places throughout the house (not just in locked areas or closets), including a pile of fishing gear in the corner. There was a bar of soap in the shower in the master bathroom, which raised questions for me about how thoroughly the place had been cleaned between guests. However, the most significant problem for me was the dishwasher. When I arrived at the property with my infant daughter and elderly parents, I found that the dishwasher was broken and that no repair visit was scheduled. Over the week, I corresponded multiple times with the owner and spoke repeatedly with the repair person that he had selected. Because this repairman had not been informed of the nature of the problem, he had me run a number of diagnostic tests (e.g., start the dishwasher, run it for two minutes, stop it and observe the water level; run a full cycle of the dishwasher and open it during the heated dry to determine whether it was drying; etc.). However, he indicated that he would not be able to make a visit that week. I ended up spending a large part of my "vacation" washing and sterilizing bottles, baby dishes, toys, and teething rings; corresponding with the owner about the problem; and running diagnostic tests for a service person who was not contacted prior to my arrival and who could not make repairs during my stay.
We LOVED this home. The pictures didn't do it justice. Mike and his daughter met us there and they were SO nice. The home was VERY clean (and I'm very picky about that). The neighbors Denny and Joyce, were SO sweet. We rented a pontoon boat by the marina right next door, spent the day on the lake swimming, tubing, and fishing, then spent the rest of the time on the private dock, in a private cove in the back yard, just relaxing, fishing, a few beers and watching the beautiful sunset each night. 3 days was not enough time and want to go back next year for a week and bring a boat :) The kitchen was fully stocked. We cooked and ate in all 3 nights and didn't need a thing. Thanks Mike for making us so comfortable and allowing us in your beautiful home :)
Around the corner is a boat rental facility. Let me know if your interested.
