Farmer's Inn is a Fantastic Newly Furnished Four Bedroom, Two Bathroom Vacation Rental on the eastern border of Glacier National Park. There are Granite Counter tops in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is Air-Conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. There are TV's in the bedrooms and a 42 inch TV in the Living-Room. Cable is provided along with Blue Ray and the latest movies. There is a Combo Washer and Dryer in the house. Luscious Shower Gels, Lotions, Shampoo, and Soaps provided. There are also bath sheet towels, hair dryer, ironing board and I-Pod docking stations. Two large bedrooms have queen beds and the other bedrooms have full beds. There is a large parking area in the back of the house for boats, motor homes and bikes. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only 12 miles away and the famous Going-to-the Sun Highway is only 30 miles away. Farmer’s Inn makes a great base-camp for excursions into the pristine Glacier National Park wilderness.

We offer the convenience of being near Browning with access to Glacier Peaks Indian Casino, Native American Bank, ATM’s, Town Pump, Subway, Taco John’s, IGA grocery store, Plains Indian Museum, Blackfeet Heritage Art Gallery, and Post Office, but still close enough to Glacier and all the other wonderful activities and attractions. We are only two blocks away from the Glenn Heavy Runner Memorial All-Season Swimming Pool with Olympic size swimming pool, hot tub, saunas, and weight room. We are within walking distance of the new Glacier Family Foods/Super One store.

We offer newly furnished, comfortable, affordable lodging, just minutes away from the best views, fishing, hiking and lots more. Whether you are whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing the renowned Blackfeet Reservation lakes or in Glacier Park, summiting the surrounding peaks, hiking the picturesque Glacier Park 1000 miles of trails, horseback riding, attending the North American Indian Day Pow Wow in Browning, golfing, sightseeing on the scenic Going to the sun Road or hiking tribal lands, you can be certain that an adventure awaits you in Big Sky Country. We are Charles and Debbie Farmer, the owners of Farmer’s Inn. Debbie retired from the National Park Service (Glacier) in 2009 and now manages the Farmer's Inn.

Charles is the Director of Emergency Management for Glacier County and an Emergency Medical Tech. We enjoy good company and meeting new friends. Come stay with us awhile, see you soon.

Why Debbie Farmer chose Montana

Our next door neighbors of many years retired as State Legislator and Superintendent of Schools and moved to be next to their children. We bought the house and to use as a vacation/executive rental.

What makes this house unique

Farmer's Inn is 12 miles east of what the Blackfeet call the 'Backbone of the World', the magnificent Rockies and this includes GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, the 'Crown of the Continent', which shares a border with WATERTON LAKES NATIONAL PARK in southern Alberta, Canada.

Debbie was a very gracious host who spoiled us. It was a great place for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Place was immaculately clean and baked good served to us in the afternoon. 15 minutes from East Glacier. Thank you Debbie you will have repeat business in the near future. Many thanks.

Wonderful base for exploring Glacier NP

The home was very clean, comfortable and as described. I agree totally with all the positive comments made by previous guests. We wanted a kitchen to cook several of our meals, and it had practically everything we needed. The location was convenient, with grocery stores nearby. It was a great place to relax after long hiking days, and a welcome bonus was the home-baked goodies that awaited us. I have no hesitation in recommending this home to others who need a "home" close to Glacier NP.

Great Place to Stay

We had a group of 5 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. The kids enjoyed the small basketball court in the backyard. The location is a nice jumping off point for the various sections of GNP on the east side. The house was well stocked with soaps and detergents and the daily cleaning was nice.

We were very pleased with our stay at farmer's inn!

The owner met us upon our arrival and offered help with directions to the park, groceries as well as restaurant suggestions. After two long days in the park, we were delighted to find dishes washed, beds made, and fresh-baked goodies for both days. We had plenty of toiletries supplied and even washing powder for our use to use with the nice washer and dryer. Everything was well-maintained, clean, with nice touches like fresh flowers inside and out. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect location!

After a long search for accommodations near Glacier NP I found the perfect place for our family gathering: Farmers Inn. Every step of the process (booking, payment, etc.) was made easy by Debbie. She provided useful info a few weeks before our visit so we were well prepared for our Glacier experience. (She also kept us informed about the fire that was burning at St. Mary in July.) The house was ideal for us: spacious, spotless and extremely well equipped. Debbie came in every day to change towels, empty baskets and vacuum. And she was so generous with the goodies left for us, warm from the oven! (Superior pineapple cake!) Debbie and Charles are wonderful, interesting people and outstanding hosts. As advertised, all parts of Glacier Park were easily accessible from Browning. This was truly an ideal location for our family.

Wonderful place!

We chose Farmer's Inn for a mini family reunion with my two siblings and all our spouses. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Very reasonably priced, close to the park, restaurants and a grocery store. The house was spotless and well equipped. Debbie & Charles were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We got spoiled by the goodies Debbie baked for us. I can't recommend this lodging highly enough! Not sure if we'll ever make it back to Glacier again but this is the place I'd choose to stay.
