This is the perfect mid-century modern indoor/outdoor home. The open floor-plan includes a large fireplace and a dramatic wall of glass spanning the living room, dining room and kitchen, offering a seamless indoor/outdoor appeal and view to the pool. Ideal separation of bedrooms offers a private master suite, and a wing for the other 2 bedrooms separated from the main living quarters. The brand new kitchen features Euro-styled cabinets, glass tile and stainless appliances. Each bedroom has it's own TV. The home includes 2 wide-screen flat-panel TVs and DVD players.

The back yard is completely private, with no neighbors behind - only a view of the majestic Palm Springs mountains. Across the quiet street is the Tahquitz Creek Golf Course.

                                                                We (four women from Minnesota) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The accommodations were great. The deck was perfect for breakfast each morning. The "manual" sent by the owners was very clear with detailed instructions for most things. We loved the fireplace. We would recommend and would stay here again if we choose Palm Springs for another get-away.

                                                                We've stayed in this home a few times now and have been so happy every time. It is very affordable and offers everything you could need. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for a calm and relaxing vacation. Very close to major stores. The owner is always responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

                                                                Took my wife and another couple to Palm Springs for the weekend and found the perfect place for adults and families! I will definitely be booking this house again because of the amenities and affordability - The heated pool, patio, fireplace, bicycles, entertainment options and interior upgrades provided a fun and relaxing environment that I will visit again in the near future!

                                                                We've had good success with previous rentals in the "Old Palm Springs" area, we like the mid century modern style and the community feel you just don't get in the "Country Club" areas.

                                                                When you turn into this subdivision off of either HWY 111 or Gene Autry you are greeted with well maintained mid century modern homes, but this particular rental is not one of them and what's most disappointing...it could be.

                                                                This review is intended to offer good constructive feedback that can be acted upon by HomeAway, the property owner and of course anyone considering renting this property. With that said I'll make my suggestions 1) Make certain the place is clean, we shouldn't have to vacuum, clean the windows and wipe down the doors and walls for dirty hand prints upon arrival. 2) If you are staying in the home until it is rented have a better plan in place to prepare it for the rental, it appears as though all your computer equipment and personal belongings are pushed into the hall closet or garage last minute. 3) Replace all the towels and bedding, they are very old, worn and badly stained. We were able to purchase new bedding, towels and wash cloths for a few hundred dollars in quick manner at the local Target and without these items my wife and kids would not have stayed a second night. 4) If you want the pool cover used, provide a better method to store it when not in use. We have a pool at home and the Rocky Roller works very well, much better than leaving the cover in the hidden corner of the yard like a pile of soiled laundry plus it will last longer with proper storage. 5) Ensure the home is secure, the 2nd bathroom window has no latch or locking mechanism, we improvised this too using a piece of wood.

                                                                If these items are attended to we would not be opposed to renting this property again or recommend it to others.

                                                                This review is a big surprise! I’m sorry this gentleman never contacted us during his stay to express any concerns. Had he done so, we could have quickly and easily arranged for a second cleaning, though it is hard to imagine the situation described, given that there is a cleaning service between each guest and given that there are extra sets of Egyptian-cotton sheets, in the hall closet for every room, purchased earlier this season. The hall closet also contains a number of other items for guests, including these extra sheets, towels, beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, printer … Most all reviews we have received on-line and in our guest book have complimented the extreme cleanliness of the home. If this gentleman were to provide any receipts for the linens he felt compelled to purchase, I would be happy to reimburse him. I think a phone call or an email could have alleviated his concerns about this and his other issues – the pool-cover (stored out of the way in the side yard) or the inability to figure out the locking mechanism of the small shower window. Again, I am indeed sorry this gentleman seemed unhappy and wish he had made contact so it could have been the best experience for all.
