About The Owner

Our family has loved the Lake Home for 12 years now. It is a great place to relax, and to enjoy gardening and entertaining

The Owner purchased this house in 2001

Why The Owner chose Lake Keowee

I grew up going to Lake Keowee and we love the gorgeous lake, the secluded home with acreage.

What makes this house unique

2 acres on a secluded cove with deep water and a view across the main channel of the lake. We have gorgeous landscaping and yards as well as enjoyable decks top and bottom, as well as a sandy beach and stream. It is 12 minutes from a good size town.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Great family vacation house

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time here and the house had tons of space for us to spread out and enjoy games, reading books or alone time and of course lots of lake time. We rented paddle boards from a local place and the cove was great for those as well as our kayaks. Tons of seating options both inside and out on the amazing deck. And the hammock and porch swing were fabulous! Thanks Pearce family!

This home was a great place for our family to come together. Plenty of room for everyone and a large kitchen. Having the dock for our boat was awesome, just wake up and go. Thank you Jim for this nice rental

Just what we needed for a relaxing family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have rented on Lake Keowee several times over the years. This place is one of the best we've stayed in. The cove and dock has plenty of room for our boat and was great for swimming. The house is very clean and has a nice layout. One of the best features is the huge wrap around deck. It is two levels and makes for great views of the lake. We ate all of our meals out there. I also was able to nap in the hammock and we all had space to play or find a quiet spot to read and relax. All we really needed was groceries and our clothes. Our six year old loved the place and spent all day jumping off the dock and paddling the kayaks. We had several outings on the kayaks which is a nice change of pace from our ski boat. Jim (the owner) was very nice and was always very responsive to our questions or needs. If you're looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place to unwind at the lake this would be a great choice. The sunrise views from the living room are amazing as well.

Just add groceries & bait!

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking for a spacious home that makes it easy to jump in the lake without a fuss, this is it. The amenities are all there, down to that specific kitchen tool, tons of extra toilet paper, and movies to help the kids fall asleep after a long day of lake life. For those with young kids, this has a great setup with a large walk-in closet in the Master that served as a private nursery for one of the kids -- the signal from a baby monitor even reached down to the lake so the mom could swim during nap times. The downstairs den/room is a good getaway for older kids, and the pull-out sofa-beds are ideal for them. The gardens around the property are spectacular, so much so that they gave me ideas for my own yard work after returning from vacation. I also loved that you could jump off the dock and not touch the bottom -- great for those practicing their fancy jumps, and those who really don't want to know what's at the bottom! When we come back, the only extra thing we'd bring along is our own CD collection; the stereo systems are rather antiquated (no aux port, etc.), and the only music available is AM/FM and a vast collection of religious CD's (which just wasn't our thing).

We will be back!

Great home on the lake!

  • 5 of 5

We had a gathering with family members from out of state. Everyone loved the house. There is plenty of room inside and out; we never felt crowded, even with several people in the kitchen at once. You could always find a quiet corner if you wanted. It is a great place for lake lovers; everyone enjoyed the kayaks and a few fish were caught right from the dock. We also enjoyed an excursion to Seneca on Thursday night for Jazz on the Alley and Gorges State Park for a hike to Rainbow Falls. With the beauty of the lake and so much to do all around, we may have convinced some of our northern contingent to consider a move to the area. The Pearces have done a fine job of creating a place for families to feel at home on the lake.

Great family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to vacation with your family! It is very private in the cove and the views of Lake Keowee are beautiful! Our boys could be on the lake whether fishing, swimming, canoeing, boating, etc. all day, all week! The drive up waterfall was a great place to go and hike up. Lake Keowee is so blue and clear, prettiest lake around. Jim the owner was very accessible for anything and very nice! The home was exactly that, felt like a home, not just a rental..very cozy!
