Polo #406 is a beautiful, comfortable unit overlooking the ocean. It offers breathtaking views of Molokini, West Maui, Kahoolawe, and Lanai. The unobstructed sunsets are absolutely stunning!

While staying at the Polo Beach Club, guests are steps away from a private, gated beach and access to the Wailea Beachwalk, a popular walking path that winds along the ocean to the Shops at Wailea and beyond. Whether your walk takes you north along 'everyone's favorite' Wailea Beachwalk or south through the neighborhood of incredible $17,000,000 (and up) gated estates, you will never be bored by the endless beauty of God's creation.

Throughout your stay, you can take embrace as much activity (or non-activity) as you need. Right on Polo Beach are some small tide pools, great waves for boogie-boarding or body-surfing, and even some small crabs for the kids to terrorize. A little deeper in the water, you'll find some great snorkeling or diving - right outside Polo Beach Club. Just above the beach, relax by the pool and then enjoy the hot tub overlooking the ocean.

A mere five minutes up the hill from Polo Beach Club, the Blue and Gold Wailea Golf Courses offer fine golf with some beautiful vistas.

Shopping at the Wailea Shops (just North of Grand Wailea Resort) is fun and includes a nice variety of shops and restaurants. If you'd rather dine in #406, prepare your meal to the sound of the surf and enjoy it while watching another spectacular sunset.

After your day's activities allow the sound of the ocean-surf, softly embracing the shore, to lull you to sleep every night.

Hawaii is a love of our family's life. We lived 3 years on Oahu while serving in the Navy. We then returned to Oahu as civilians. Having come to Maui for years attending the Hawaii Eye Medical Meeting, we enjoyed many, many walks to the south end of the Wailea Beachwalk. We would turn back at Polo Beach Club to return to our accommodations at the Grand Wailea. It was in 2003 that we decided 'for fun' to see if any oceanfront condo was available for sale. After amazing events and timing, we were blessed with Polo #406.

Through Polo, we have met many wonderful people who have become friends along the way, including Polo personnel and guests.

Every time we return to Maui, the minute we walk into the entrance of the condo, our concerns of the day are replaced with serenity and peace.

It is our desire that our condo, Polo Beach Club #406, will offer you serenity, peace, and rest as you are caressed by the gentle Maui tradewinds.

About The Owner

Previous Hawaiian residents that, after moving to the mainland, couldn't escape the call of Hawaii. We have two grown children and a grandchild that adore this unit and have fallen in love with Polo Beach. Many fabulous family memories have been made here.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2003

Why The Owner chose Maui

We had come to Maui for years and loved staying at the Grand Wailea. Seeing Polo Beach Club everyday on our walk, we always wondered about the availability of a prime oceanfront unit on the north side of this complex. We asked and were blessed to discover that #406 had just been marketed for sale. As the previous owner told us, this unit is in the perfect location. High enough to be private but low enough to sit on the lanai and watch grandkids at play. Without having to strain your neck, the ocean lies well within view. We chose this part of the island for the solitude it offers compared to the busyness of the west side of Maui. The meadows of Haleakala and the beauty of the clouds shrouding its peak are breathtaking. While offering fine dining, empty beaches, great snorkeling, and lots of shopping, it is removed from the crowded streets of Lahaina and Kaanapali.

What makes this condo unique

The walk along the Wailea Beachwalk every morning is a great way to start the day. In the evening, open the sliding doors and allow the Hawaiian tradewinds and ocean sounds to fill the condo. There is nothing like being lulled to sleep to the song of the constant surf lapping the beach, which sits a mere stone's throw from the breezy tradewinds-kissed-lanai off of the master suite.

We do not offer daily cleaning services. There is an ample supply of needed paper products, extra linens, bath soap, and other needed supplies in one of the closets within the unit. This allows you to have free access to things you may need during the course of your stay. You can also contact our cleaning manager and make arrangements on your own schedule for her to come in and tidy up, etc. Her rate is approximately $35.00 per hour and you can pay her directly. ****There is also a locking safe for valuables.

Loved the condo-- such sweeping ocean views! The unit is beautiful and spacious inside. Hosts were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive when we had a question during our stay. Wifi, which was important to me since I had to work during our stay, is strong and reliable (see login info on router on living room end table). We took full advantage of the kitchen and barbecue area and made several meals during our stay. The pool is just the right temperature -- not cold, but still cool enough to feel refreshing. It gets to 7' deep which was so nice to float in. Building has sensible things like carts in the basement to bring up luggage and groceries from the garage in one trip and a trash chute and recycling center on each floor. Just a great experience overall - a premium unit with great privacy in a well appointed building with gorgeous grounds. I hope we get to return someday!

My family just returned to Unit #406 during the first couple of weeks of May for the second year. Everything was as wonderful and perfect this year as it was when we visited in 2015. Extremely clean. Very comfortable bedding. Beautiful views from the lanai and only steps from the beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, well stocked with kitchen utensils, spices, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, etc. The full size washer and dryer work so well that we took minimal luggage this year and washed our clothing/towels as needed.Great communication with owners. Hope to return again next year!

We had such a wonderful experience. Fabulous location with views of the beach and ocean - literally a few steps to the beach. The condo itself was beautifully appointed and thoughtful. High end appliances and cookware. Lovely artwork. Daily cleaning service. Our stay was awesome!!

Better than expected...incredible ocean views and sunsets

Going to bed hearing the ocean waves crashing on the beach was more than I expected. Waking up to beautiful blue water and watching the waves while drinking my morning coffee was better than I had ever imagined! The rooms were spacious and clean. Coffee, detergent for clothes, shampoo, towels and even beach chairs were all provided! Walking a few steps to the ocean was wonderful! Morning walks or runs are easy with the paved sidewalk along the ocean. Close to shopping and dining. Will stay here again!!!

Paradise living

We had an absolutely wonderful one week stay at this wonderful condo. Our group consisted of 6 adults ranging in age from 22 to 58 and we felt we had enough room. Everything about the condo was perfect. Very comfortable and very well stocked with towels, beach chairs, bag of coffee, plenty of spices for cooking. We even had fresh flowers on our arrival! Of course the views from the balcony were spectacular. I was pleasantly surprised with the twin showers in the master bathroom. I also liked how private the beach was, there is a key required to access it from the condo. We enjoyed the many activities that there is to do, all close by. We enjoyed exploring the hotels along the walkway with their great restaurants and lounges for evening cocktails. We also did kayaking, outrigger canoe paddle, drove to Haleakala for sunrise,rented mopeds and explored other local beaches, rented a jeep for a ride to the rainforest, and did lots of snorkeling and boogie boarding. There is even good snorkeling at our private beach complete with turtles! I especially enjoyed a morning jog along the beach walkway followed by a swim in the clear waters of the ocean. I hope to be lucky enough to return again.

Simply the Best!

Our two week stay was perfect in every way. Best location (views and beach), best accommodations (bedding, appliances, furniture; immaculately clean), best "extras" (beach chairs and umbrella, cooking utensils, lending library, decor), clear and helpful communication with owners. If you desire to lease this unit, please care for it as you would for your own home because you should appreciate that the owner allows renters to occupy their second home.
