Beautiful Cabin in very remote spot. Easy to get 7 miles to town where you can get and do anything.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My family and I had a really wonderful, restful time at your house. It was so clean and comfortable, and the house was set in such a peaceful surrounding. We loved the open, comonn space you had and we spent a lot of time hanging out by the fireplace in the living room together. We also enjoyed the kitchen where we could cook meals together. My dog was a little perturbed by the stuffed ducks initially - she couldn't stop growling at them - but got used to them by day 1.

I thought your website was useful (the photo gallery was especially selling) and the pot of flowers on the front porch was anice touch.

Thak you and we hope to come back again!

Wonderful Cabin

  • 4 of 5

This is a beautiful cabin and is secluded. It is close to West Jefferson. We saw many deer outside while sitting on the back. The trip down to the river is well maintained with stairs and stairs down to get into the river. But it is a hike down to river, counted 90 steps. We enjoyed fishing tubing and just relaxing by the river.

Fantastic Stay

  • 5 of 5

This is our third visit to West Jefferson and this was by far the best cabin our family has stayed in.This place was a little piece of heaven; recharged and regrouped. Spent a lot of time on the back porch overlooking the river. The path to walk down to the river is well maintained - be advised, the hike back up to the cabin is challenging - and we loved it. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had all the basics. Downtown West Jefferson is only 15 minutes away and it is a dreamy little town and very pleasant merchants. Make sure you visit the cheese factory. All in all, it was a great stay and we are looking forward to coming back to this cabin in the near future.
