Very quaint home in a romantic setting...everyone loves this spot!
Great place to stay for the price!!
Three of us friends stayed here for a weekend during the summer and had a great time. Even though it seems cozy due to its layout, this cabin has plenty of room, and we probably could've had one or two extra people with us. That said, we really didn't spend much time indoors. The backyard area is fantastic. We spent most of our leisure time hanging out in the back porch, grilling by the side porch, and at night, sitting by the fire pit in the back. The location is also conveniently close to town for whenever we need to make supply runs and/or go out for a meal or mini golf.
So why 4 stars? Mainly because the cabin is old and a little rundown. If you're looking for luxury, space, and somewhere to spend a lot of time indoors, I would stay elsewhere. But if you value location, coziness, and true log cabin feel, this is a great option.
Our stay was rocky at first but Lisa and Dana were quick to resolve the problem and our vacation ended up being fabulous. Lisa was very quick to answer all of my questions and concerns as this was the first time I used Home Away. The log cabin was everything I wanted and more. Very roomy inside and rustic and plenty of space outside with lots of privacy. This home is located in a perfect area and I can't wait to rent this property again!
The cabin is quiet, clean and relaxing. The property is very nice, as well. There's a stream that runs constantly in the distance which real added to the ambience. We really enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to recharge our batteries. The owner is very nice and responsive to questions.
Our family of 4 enjoyed a lovely weekend at this cabin! It was great to bring along our dogs and the location was perfect! The cabin was spacious for a single family and there were nice perks like board games and DVDs. Communication with the owner was great and I would certainly consider staying here again. My one source of negative feedback is that the cabin felt a little dirty and in need of a good deep clean. There were plenty of cleaning supplies but for the price I wish it was a bit more spic and span. Definitely worth considering for your next trip up to Loon or the White Mountains!
We had a very good time in Lisa's cabin. It is very well located in the center of Lincoln, but in a very very quiet place. The house is perfect and has everything you need. We were there in December but I think this is a wonderful place to spend time anytime of the year. The house was warm and we could use the fireplace in the living room which was fantastic.
Just a remark (not a critic at all): the mattresses are very soft.
Lisa was very helpful, very easy to communicate with. She allowed us to stay a bit after the checkout which was very very nice.
If we go back in this area, we will definitely want to stay there again!
